This Driver Hack Can Help Most Amateur Golfers 💪🏻 The driver is a specialist club, how we stand to a driver needs to be very different to how we stand to an iron shot. We need to create the right tilts and position to not only allow the club to swing on a good path, but also to allow the club to swing slightly upward, especially if we want to get the most out of our yardage. Positioning the club a ball box back, helps you align the shoulders square, it helps you keep your head behind the golf ball at set up as well as keeping the all important tilt you create in your spine. Place an alignment stick on the target line, raise it up about 30° and place a pool noodle over it. This will not only give you feedback but it will persuade you to swing more in to out. Stop scooping and start creating more compression on the ball, if you are struggling with your ball striking, it could be because you’re a lease in the club early, causing the scoop. This drill works on an extreme level of wrist set, you will need this much when you hit a golf ball, but it’s a good place to train.
