Yes, actual skiing near DC. 🏔️ HeArt & SOUL Festival felt like the slopes met a family reunion. 🤍 Beginners taking lessons. Seasoned skiers flying past us. Snow tubing during the day, live music and DJs at night. 🎶✨ And somehow the energy never dipped. The good ✨ the bad 👎🏽 and the ugly 👹 For every beautiful photo I’ve posted from around the world, there’s usually a story happening somewhere off camera. I’ve been pickpocketed, fined, stranded, gotten sick in front of a group of people I JUST met, had my luggage dumped out at airport security 😭, been judged for taking my own photos, and had moments that were genuinely scary. And yet… I still keep booking the flight. 😂 Travel has given me some of the most beautiful experiences of my life, but it’s also taught me how to laugh at myself, problem solve on the fly, trust my gut, speak up for myself, and accept that sometimes the story you come home with is VERY different from the one you thought you were going to tell.
