Everything I design—whether it’s a home, a piece of furniture, or a rug—has that mix of modern and vintage, clean lines with a little bit of something wonky. I’m always chasing a balance between modern minimalism and the feeling that something has always existed. This collection is no different. The earthy, neutral palette is straight out of my own home, and the textures are exactly what I love living with—soft underfoot and natural, with that “perfectly imperfect” quality I’m always drawn to. I wanted every piece to feel unfussy, like it could live in a country farmhouse or a city loft and be right at home. From the start, @loloirugs understood how important handmade is to me and that’s why every rug in this line is truly made by hand. Because of that every single rug has a sense of soul to it.
