The korea glow up but men’s version. The skinny jeans had to go. 10 years was long enough. I flew my husband to Korea for the ultimate glow-up: full body measurements at Monque Color Lab (they measure EVERY bone to find your perfect style), a complete wardrobe overhaul, and the one hair stylist I've been saving for years. High-waisted straight pants, sleek loafers, softer layers—basically everything he's been avoiding. Style consultation by @colorlab_dahyun Hair by @infleur.woo Was it worth throwing away his favorite jeans in secret? Watch till the end. 변우석 사랑해요 💀

#greenscreen #greenscreenvideo should you trust your sunscreens? Especially when @Ultra Violette Australian SPF is not spf 50 but in fact, spf4? I have a lot to say about this consumer test, or the spf testing methods overall. But we’ll start here today

Believe it or not, this isn’t plastic. The beauty industry creates over 120 billion units of packaging every year, and most of it never gets recycled. Even when we try to do better, many “sustainable” materials still end up in landfills for decades… or centuries. At Press Reset Ventures, we invested in @Shellworks because they’re rethinking packaging from the beginning, not the end. They developed Vivomer, a material made through bacterial fermentation that looks and feels like plastic, but is fully home compostable. No industrial recycling. No greenwashing. Just a material designed to return to the earth. I went to London to see it myself. I watched it being brewed, molded into packaging, and break down into soil. And it reminded me that sustainability isn’t about being perfect, it’s about building systems that actually work in the real world. If you’re a beauty, skincare, personal care, or supplement brand, this is worth paying attention to. And if you’re a consumer, tag the brands you love below. Change happens when we ask better questions 🌱

I sold 3,000 bottles in one hour with $0 in ads As a small business owner, my biggest regret is not joining @sellwithtiktokshop_us sooner. Here's the 3-step framework that transformed @KraveBeauty business: 1️⃣ Create a product that solves real problems 2️⃣ List it on TikTok Shop (seamless discovery → purchase) 3️⃣ Post consistent content (our in-house videos went viral organically!) Holiday season is THE time for small biz to grow. Link in bio to join. #ad #SellWithTikTokShop #TikTokShop #ad #SmallBusiness

We need your help because if we get this wrong, this entire kelp caviar eye project might get scrapped. Last time, over 3,000 of you told us what frustrates you most about eye products: puffiness, dark circles, makeup creasing, and formulas that feel too heavy. So we took that insight and got to work on the most hydrating eye product on the planet that doesn’t cost the planet. It all started with a wild idea: 𝒗𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝒄𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒂𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓-𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔. I tried vegan caviar for the first time and lost my mind. It looked and tasted exactly like real caviar BUT it’s made from seaweed extract, water, and salt. Way more sustainable. And I thought: what if we made kelp caviar beads you could scoop from a jar and apply directly to your eyes? Instant hydration, depuffing, and something actually fun to use. So I flew to a lab in South Korea that specializes in sphere technology. After weeks of sampling, we nailed the kelp bead formula. But then we hit two massive problems 1. The beads are impossible to pick up without them falling everywhere and making a mess 2. Even the softest bead requires so much pressure to break that it creates friction and irritation under your eyes which is the exact opposite of what we want So now we’re scrambling between labs with two weeks to decide before the KelpCoLab deadline. Do we pivot or push through? Here are our three options: 1️⃣ Beads suspended in gel (airless pump breaks them as you dispense—functional but loses some of the fun) 2️⃣ Cooling stick format (smooth, easy to apply, but completely loses the caviar concept) 3️⃣ Sustainable seaweed under-eye patches (like actually sticking a sheet of kelp under your eyes) You helped define the problem. Now help us decide the solution. Vote in the comments. What would you actually use? Because right now, your vote is the only thing standing between this product existing or eight months of work ending up in the graveyard of beauty ideas that never made it.

@capricorneum recently did a post about how 2 fingers of #sunscreen might not be enough - a method I religiously used myself too. Every sunscreen has a different viscosity so this may not apply to more fluid or thicker sunscreens than the @KraveBeauty beet the sun* but the general rule of thumb is…. USE MORE THAN WHAT YOU THINK IS ENOUGH! *KraveBeauty is my own brand

💔💔💔How my heart went when I saw this news. The closure of Ami Colé isn’t just news—it’s a powerful reminder that even the most groundbreaking, Black-owned beauty brands face huge hurdles in today’s market. Rapid retail expansion comes with massive costs, and structural barriers combined with shrinking funding make survival tougher than ever. This isn’t unique to Ami Colé—for many indie, Black-owned, and minority-owned businesses, the same pressures are forcing difficult decisions and, in some cases, closures. If you care about diversity and representation in beauty, your support matters more than ever. Shop small, support Black-owned and indie brands, and keep these important voices alive. And to Diarrha N’Diaye-Mbaye: thank you for building a legacy and pushing the culture forward. Your impact will be felt for years to come. #AmiCole #BlackOwnedBeauty #SupportIndieBeauty #BeautyIndustry #ShopSmall #InclusiveBeauty #DiversityMatters #FounderStory

We’re developing an eye product that doesn’t exist yet and we need your help to build it. Here’s what makes this different: we got accepted into GreenWave’s #KelpCoLab, a program designed to unlock kelp’s potential as a functional ingredient in personal care. We’re one of the first brands working directly with Alaskan kelp farmers and technical experts to co-develop high-performance formulations using regeneratively farmed kelp. Why kelp? Because it locks in moisture without weight, won’t clog pores or cause milia, and actually cleans the ocean while it grows—no fertilizer, no pesticides, just pure hydration for your under-eyes. But here’s the thing: innovation is expensive and time-consuming when you do it alone. That’s why we’re building this in public with YOU from day one. We want to know what frustrates you most about eye products—puffiness? Dark circles? Makeup creasing? Formulas that are too heavy that cause milia? Then follow along as we show you the entire R&D process, farm visits, formulation trials, and everything in between.

I never thought I’d be writing a love letter to someone who makes bagels. 🥯 But then I discovered Ryo. She opened her first café at 49. Four years later, she sold it for $150M. But what inspired me wasn’t the business success, it was how unapologetically herself she was in the process. In a culture that often tells you to blend in, Ryo chose to stand out. She reminded me that it’s never too late to start over, to pivot, to chase freedom instead of achievements. This is my love letter to her. 💌 #inspirational #startover #freedom

I tried Ultherapy for the very first time. I went to in Hoan Clinic in South Korea, the clinic that Kim Kardashian went to. The treatment was provided in exchange for my review. The clinic was unlike others, it was so tranquil, serene vibe and had private treatment rooms. Ultherapy is an ultrasound-based treatment that targets deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen over time. It’s often described as a “non-surgical lift,” but I think of it more as long-term structural support rather than an instant snatch. I’ve tried Titanium and Tune Face before, which give that immediate tightening effect. But with my fertility journey ahead, I wanted something that would last longer and require less maintenance. The experience? 400 shots on my lower face. With numbing cream, very tolerable. You feel heat and little zaps, especially near the bone, but nothing unbearable. Results? Subtle but noticeable. My face looks more contoured, my jawline sharper. The most interesting part is that people keep asking if I lost weight… I didn’t. That’s collagen doing its thing. Would I do it again? Probably. But like all treatments, it’s not for everyone. Have you tried ultrasound lifting before?

This is diary of a beauty founder ep 6 , where I take you behind the scenes of building @KraveBeauty: the wins, the challenges and everything in between. The other day I was washing my face with Matcha Hemp Cleanser like I do every morning… and suddenly thought, wait, why don’t we have a refill for this yet? 🤔💭 Turns out, creating a refillable version isn’t as simple as just… making one. It’s a whole equation of materials, sustainability, operations, and data. And as a small brand, every new SKU = a big decision. But we are exploring it. So in true KraveBeauty fashion, we want you in the conversation. 💬 Watch till the end and tell us: which refill option would you actually use?

Day 6 reviewing milky toners 🥛 This one’s a cult classic, the @Dr.Ceuracle Official Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence. One of the OGs in the bi-phase toner world, with that dreamy cream-on-top emulsion that blends perfectly once you shake it up. They call it a multitasking cream-essence hybrid, rich in probiotics and vitamins from kombucha tea extract. Supposedly detoxifying (not sure how that actually works), but it does deliver deep hydration and antioxidant support from the tea leaf essence. Texture-wise, it’s chef’s kiss: 15% oil and 85% water — the sweet spot for normal to dry skin. My skin feels instantly smoother, plumper, and hydrated with that glass-skin glow. ⭐ 9/10 A staple in my routine, luxurious texture, beautiful finish, and it just makes my skin happy. Stay tuned for Day 7 reviewing milky toners, which is your favorite so far?

This might be the hardest decision we’ve had to make… Years of work. Over $200,000 spent. Everything done by the book and then some. One test says it works. Another says it doesn’t. We could launch it anyway, but that’s not who we are. So… what would you do? #founder #skincare #buisnessowner #kravebeauty

Who’s the right retailer for @KraveBeauty ?
diary of a beauty founder, episode one. we’re at the next stage of growth, which means going beyond our own d2c and meeting customers where they already shop. the retailers on our list all take a similar cut, so the decision comes down to brand fit and strategic upside. sephora brings high stakes, strong brand building, and a built-in relationship from our global partnership. ulta feels inclusive and accessible, with a growing k-beauty presence. target offers unmatched scale and convenience, with shoppers who value price accessibility but most products are under twenty dollars which we can’t compete with. and ofc the recent dei roll back is incredibly disappointing, which is more of the reasons why you should support bipoc owned brands in target!! @sephora @Ulta Beauty @target so the real question is, whose shelves should we join?
