Tough to have my season over but I’ve been looking back at these two days and the awesome trips I’ve been on this year and really appreciating this season for what it was. Making this video helped me feel the joy of skiing and what I’m working hard to get back to even in these early days post surgery. Hope everyone is enjoying the last months of the season and let me know how it is out there right now. Short answer, they are not ok. These are some special skis to me so a huge bummer they are not skiable anymore. I had actually decided to retire them and only pull them out for special occasions but I was getting some new skis mounted the same day and decided to ride them before I switched to the new Bents. Also bummed I can’t ride the new Bents but I have them up on my wall for motivation to get better and as always @Chris Benchetler did an unreal job with the new graphics. 🎿: @atomicski Bent Chetler 110 #ski #skiing

I think we’re saying the same thing. From some fun off piste skiing in Tignes. Couldn’t believe the terrian that you could access at this place. Snow in the couloir was a lot firm than I expected so got a little bucked and then just had to roll with it. #ski #skiing #weareskiing

How far would you drive for these turns? It was a slightly treacherous drive up from Utah to Canada with high wind warning and numerous semi trucks in the ditch. Well worth it right away with an epic bluebird powder day at Lake Louise which has had all time start to the season and snowiest December on record. Unfortunately the fresh snow was mostly scrapped off by the time I was ready to give these a go but it was still somewhat soft. #ski #skiing #remarkables #newzealand

It was in fact an all time run in St Anton. From one of the best days of skiing I’ve had skiing some epic terrain, hardest part was just getting to the run half the time. Have you skied St Anton before?

This was dream trip to ski Dolomiti Superski in Italy this January. It was such an amazing experience from the sights, to the food, to the amazing hospitality. I’ve been lucky enough to come to Dolomiti Superski twice and both times the trip has blown me away (even when I knew what to expect the second time). There’s so much to do here and the Sellaronda is a must if you make the trip. It’s an awesome way to see 4 different resorts, get in some great skiing, and, most importantly, take in the views of the Sella Group. Have you been to the Dolomites? @my.dolomiti @ikonpass

I also don’t know St Anton at all so was picking out lines from the lift and trail map which means there’s definitely a ton of unreal lines in less obvious places. #ski #skiing #stanton #arlberg #austria #alps #powder #weareskiing @atomicski @Spyderactive

Have you skied Lake Louise? Absolutely amazing start to the season in Alberta with sunshine, Lake Louise, and Norquay all mid-season form. I’ve heard BC is similarly good at the higher elevation resorts which is where I’ll be spending a lot of the coming weeks.

Tignes might have the biggest terrain I’ve ever seen. Skiing at Val D’isere and Tignes was such a cool experience to see the terrain and size a resort can offer. So much variety in the terrain and lines that felt like I was deep in the backcountry. Definitely a place I will be going back to visit. What would you recommend? Lots of patience and slow skiing to start with but really happy with the progress over the last couple weeks. Still a ways to go but I think with a couple more months of physio I’ll be skiing pretty well by winter in the northern hemisphere.

What’s the best view you’ve seen? I’m definitely biased since I grew up here but I didn’t fully appreciate it until I left and came back to the Banff area. One a blue sky day it’s hard to beat this view. #ski #skiing #norquay 📷: @insta360 official X5 camera
