Being single for those years, in hindsight, was such a blessing in disguise 🤍 I’m grateful for the space I had to grow on my own, but I also feel so lucky to be where I am now with Jack 🫶🏻 Two truths! There were, of course, times when I felt exasperated (*cue Charlotte York’s “where is he?!” monologue*) — but also quiet, comforting moments of reassuring myself that whether I was able to admit it with full certainty or not, I was already whole; lucky to have a bountiful garden I’d nurtured myself - in the form of a career I’d built, strong friendships and family, hobbies and future dreams; zest for life that was all my own! I realized there is space for both feelings to exist in me, and that is ok. … also I love this song 🥹
