A bit of a hard morning for me, I had a lot of emotions come up. I’m always one to shine light on my day to day, which is why you don’t ever see me talk about this . Here’s some of the reality of my situation. My family and I come from Venezuela, my parents left behind their careers to move my Family and I to the United States when I was 7 so that my sisters and I could grow up safe with a better future ahead. My parents ended up getting divorced when I was 12 and as I’ve gotten older I I’ve stepped up to be a big support system to my mom and family unit. From helping with finances ,sharing a car with my younger sister, carpooling my mom/ sister places, to caring for my abuela (she ends up caring for me tbh😭), we’re all co-existing helping eachother trying to figure it out in a country we have no background in. I love the fact that I’m able to be with my family, I’ll always be grateful for everything we do for each other and do whatever I can to help move us forward, that being said.. it does get hard sometimes. If you’re in a similar situation or doing your best to be a support system to your family unit you are not alone. Everyone is going through something different and the only thing we can do is make light of the situation we’ve been given, whatever it is and trust that it’s all going to workout while actively doing what we can to help push each other forward in every way. You’re never alone in anything you’re going through in this life🤍 one day at a time!! #dayinmylife #morningroutine
