What is BAM, aka bile acid malabsorption? ❤️ After gallbladder removal, bile can drip continuously instead of being released in controlled amounts. For some people, that excess bile irritates the bowel and causes urgency, diarrhoea, cramping and bloating. If you find that after gallbladder removal you’re dealing with: - Urgent diarrhoea, especially after fatty food - Multiple toilet trips after eating - Cramping and bloating that won’t settle - Pain where your gallbladder used to be You might have BAM. You can also have BAM even if you still have your gallbladder, there are different types. To get diagnosed, there’s a test called a SeHCAT scan, or some consultants will diagnose it clinically if bile binder medications like Questran (the powder) or Colesevelam (the tablet form, which is much better for me) make a big improvement. Other things that have helped me: psyllium husk, a lower-fat diet, and Imodium when travelling but I will still have flare ups. Adpr - I already thought I had one of the coolest wheelchairs out there and then came along the Robooter E60 GT Pro 👏
 I got to see it properly at REHACARE and compare it with my current E60 Pro-A, and there are some really nice upgrades 👇
 - Bigger motors for even MORE power and speed! 💨 - New integrated control panel with smoother, more responsive controls - Two front touch activated lights - More flexibility with the adjustment of the armrests and footplate
 And then it still has all the features I already LOVE about my E60 Pro-A:
 - 12-inch omni wheels (these are the best) - Cruise control - USB charging - Great battery life
 After seeing (what feels like) every folding electric wheelchair on the market at REHACARE, I am confident in saying that the Robooter E60 is the most impressive out there, and the best one for me. 

The new GT Pro feels like they’ve taken something that was already brilliant and just made it even better 👏

This can be like myself, to manage their pain, fatigue, and be able to do more. Around 1/3 of wheelchair users are ambulatory, so if you see someone stood up one day and using a chair the next, now you’ll know why! 🥰 #ambulatorywheelchairuser #disabilitypridemonth
