CULTURE IS A RAT KING - TRENDS CREATE THE RAT KING. Tell me, what do you think about sambas driving the majority of sales for adidas last year?? How did modern culture and creativity get to this deeply unsettling and crippling direction.

Why memes are dying, and where they went to hide. There's a hidden layer of TikTok called the Farlands: thousands of videos with almost no views, no followers, unreachable through the algorithm, findable only through shared search strings. This is the story of the meme lifecycle collapsing from six months to 72 hours, how brands and marketers kill memes the moment they touch them, and why internet culture is fighting back with scorched earth tactics. Italian brainrot explained: how Ballerina Cappuccina went from inside joke to Fortnite skin to the lowest rated item in the game. Memes started as ciphers on 4chan, a test of subcultural literacy. Now they're camouflage, built to self destruct before the machine can sell them back to you. Dark social is back, hiding inside the platform designed to make everything go viral.

HAT DO YOU MEAN WE HAVE A CHAINSAW WIELDING ROBOTIC CENTAUR. Now I can die fighting metal mythology instead of fleeing from s super virus created by a singularity. Hyperbole aside, if this is more than just functionality, and infant a marketing stunt from satyress, it might just be the best marketing event of 2026.

You’ve seen it loads of times, maybe never noticed. Anthropic brands themselves to showcase the power of human problem solving, but systematically take workplace jobs, OpenAI selling merch and acting like a consumer brand when they runs survielance deals with the DoW. Branding themselves as human when in fact they are the very opposite.

Why does some design look like shit, but in a good way? When creating new styles and finding new inspiration, you sometimes have to dive into the completely unknown to create something new - that is where the new stuff hides, in plain sight as the ugly, cool stuff.
