When I say my art is all over the place, this is why lol I was going through old photos and thought it would be fun (would’ve been more fun if it hadn’t taken 2 literal hours) to put together a carousel sharing the journey so far. I’d love to know what “stages” are your favorites. I feel very nostalgic about my early gouache days and the minimalist watercolors-inktober period, not necessarily because I love the art I made back then (I do though 😎) but because it was a period during which I experimented and learned a ton.

Hi to all the new people here, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the support on yesterday’s video, it took literally two months for me to finally build up the courage to make it, but hearing that it spoke to and inspired so many of you made it all worth it. I’m working today (I’m a photographer when I’m not an artist) so Ive been out of the house since morning, but I still wanted to take another step forward so to speak. And for anyone here for my art, don’t worry, I’m not turning into a motivational account, I’ve just been wanting to share more of everything involved with making this happen, as well as more of myself as a whole person rather than just a face that makes art.

Day 12 - The biggest improvements over the past month were replacing my paper cutter (last month I used scissors to cut the tissue paper) and figuring out how to easily get everyone’s address onto a label I could print with my thermal printer (which is finally living up to its potential by printing more than 1 label at a time 😄) so I wouldn’t have to do it by hand. Thank you to everyone who’s even giving me a reason to be doing this, and if you want to be a part of it the Iink is in my bi0 as usual. Day 12 - The biggest improvements over the past month were replacing my paper cutter (last month I used scissors to cut the tissue paper) and figuring out how to easily get everyone’s address onto a label I could print with my thermal printer (which is finally living up to its potential by printing more than 1 label at a time 😄) so I wouldn’t have to do it by hand. Thank you to everyone who’s even giving me a reason to be doing this, and if you want to be a part of it the Iink is in my bi0 as usual. Got a lot of comments asking for details on print size, envelope size, where I get the postcards, etc so I thought I’d make a video going over all of that. One thing I forgot to mention is that, in typical millenial fashion, I do not own a printer, so I get my letters printed at my local FedEx store. It does cut into the profits, and eventually I’ll have to go against my culture and buy one, but the club is still small so for now I don’t mind. I decided to launch this even though I didn’t have everything figured out because I tend to overthink most of my ideas into nothingness, but I figured “get it done, then you can make it better”. If you have any questions about things I didn’t cover feel free to ask!
