Donald Trump’s name appears in the Epstein files more than “Harry” does in the entire Harry Potter series 😲

According to The New York Times, Trump is mentioned around 38,000 times across 5,300+ documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.

For context, the name “Harry” (including full mentions) shows up 18,956 times across all seven Harry Potter books.

A pretty crazy stat 😅

India and Europe's 'Mother of All Deals' last week seems to have lit a fire under Trump. ⁣
⁣
Taking to Truth Social this morning, the president announced that he and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had come to an agreement on a trade deal between the two economic giants.⁣
⁣
While details were sparse, the framework of the deal sees India lowering its tariffs and non-tariff trade barriers on the US to "ZERO," while the US will lower its reciprocal tariff on India from 25% to 18% "effective immediately."⁣
⁣
Last year, as negotiations stalled, Trump hit India with an additional 25% tariff as it continued to purchase oil from Russia. In today's announcement, Trump says India has agreed to stop purchasing Russian oil and instead increase purchases of US oil and other products "at a much higher level." ⁣

Donald Trump has threatened to sue Trevor Noah following a joke made during Noah’s opening monologue at the Grammys referencing Trump, Bill Clinton, and Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump responded on Truth Social, denying ever visiting Epstein’s private island and calling the joke “false and defamatory,” adding that his lawyers would be in touch. He has not been accused of any crimes related to Epstein, and the U.S. Justice Department has previously said allegations involving him are unfounded.

Epstein died in 2019 while awaiting trial on trafficking charges.

Amazon has officially lost its sense of humor.

The company pulled the Melania documentary from a small Oregon movie theater after the theater poked fun at the film with marquee jokes like “Does Melania wear Prada? Find out Friday!” and a Sun Tzu quote reading, “To defeat your enemy, you must know them. Melania.”

According to the theater’s manager, Amazon called and asked for the film to be removed. The theater responded by updating the marquee again, this time announcing that all showings were canceled and jokingly encouraging people to “show your support at Whole Foods instead.”

The documentary, directed by Brett Ratner, follows the 20 days leading up to Donald Trump’s second inauguration and was reportedly acquired by Amazon for $40 million.

The theater says booking it was meant to be ironic and funny during a slow movie week, not a political statement.

Which somehow makes Amazon’s reaction even funnier.

Throughout the new documentary “Melania,” the camera seems desperate to find action—and although there is little, Sophie Gilbert argues, the film’s existence does reveal something about the entertainment industry. The film received a $40 million bid from Amazon, which was reported to include a roughly $28 million personal fee for Melania Trump, a further $35 million marketing budget, and an aggressive rollout across more than 3,300 theaters. It “bears underlining here that first ladies prior to Melania have typically declined—out of a sense of propriety rather than specific ethical constraints—to profit directly from their role while in office,” Gilbert writes. “Melania” contains little substance, Gilbert argues, and in the documentary, the director Brett Ratner mostly “captures his subject walking from liminal place to liminal place in five-inch heels, the camera trailing her like a lap dog.” The first lady, Gilbert continues, “looks immediately uncomfortable being filmed, an effect that never quite goes away.” “‘Melania’ the movie isn’t a documentary; it’s a protection racket,” Gilbert argues. “It’s a reminder that the richest people in the world are investing in entertainment brands not because they care about art but because the public does, and because all of these vanity projects and capitulations are a way to consolidate their own power and fortune.” “Melania Trump really doesn’t seem to care about the optics of launching her $75 million show reel while the country is in such profound crisis—that much she has always made clear,” Gilbert argues. “But most Americans do. And the particular details of the past week—the demonstrations and the tear gas in Minneapolis, the ‘Melania’ ads covering the Sphere, the themed macarons at the White House, the scurrying-away of many who were professionally involved with this documentary—should be remembered long after the film itself is forgotten.” Read more at the link in our bio. 🎨: Akshita Chandra / The Atlantic. President Donald Trump has reportedly changed his mind about attending Super Bowl LX between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots after his inner circle warned him he’d be intensely booed. 🏈

While President Donald Trump attended the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship game between the Indiana Hoosiers and Miami Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on Monday, January 19, reports indicate he’ll be skipping the Super Bowl on the other side of the country this Sunday. ❌

📣 - “Some of his administration officials and advisers had privately assessed that if Trump were to attend Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California, the crowd at the stadium would likely aggressively boo him,” reported Zeteo.

“In recent months, several aides and advisers to the president quietly determined that the chances were rather high of Trump getting booed ‘big league,’ at the Super Bowl, in the words of one White House official. 🇺🇸

Such a moment would instantly create a wealth of viral video clips and media coverage that administration officials would prefer to avoid.”

A knee jerk reaction might be to say, “Well, it’s libbed-out San Francisco — of course he’s going to be booed.” But a Super Bowl’s populous has nothing to do with the city its held in given the routinely astronomical price of tickets. 💰

The current average price for a Super Bowl LX ticket, for example, is $9,338, per ESPN Research, which means that the crowd at any given Super Bowl isn’t comprised of San Franciscans or Floridians or Texans — but rich people. 😂

Given Trump’s relationship with Pats owner Rober Kraft and that he made a public statement about Bill Belichick being snubbed from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he’ll likely be rooting for the New England Patriots.

Joe Budden believes Nicki Minaj is accepting money to show support for President Trump.

On Wednesday (Feb. 4), the Club Shay Shay podcast debuted its new interview with the rapper-turned-podcaster, who was asked to weigh in on Nicki Minaj turning heel and going full MAGA.

“A lot of money is over there,” Joe said. “She won’t be the first or the last. There will be plenty more celebrities to take that check. Listen, when you on that side, they rockin’. So, tempting for people, I know. My views and how I was raised, and my family that I come from in Sumpter, S.C., no.”

“I can’t be complicit,” he continued. “Not and sleep and night. So, it bothers me when I see people that I know and have some sort of relationship with, and have had some conversations with...I’ve seen people grow to become multi-million dollar brands from Black sh*t, and Black people and Black consumerism. So, to watch you take the equity and stand over there, I can’t jive with that.”

Nicki Minaj’s support of Donald Trump has reached new heights in recent months, as she has spoken at multiple MAGA and Trump-related events.

Most recently, she showed up to Trump’s Trump Accounts Summit in Washington D.C., where she called Trump the greatest POTUS ever. She later revealed that she had received a free Trump Gold Card, which is supposed to grant citizenship for a $1 million fee. However, the White House revealed the card Nicki received was only a “memento.”

Washington is building a mineral bunker.⁣
⁣
In an attempt to blunt China's grip on critical supply chains, Trump is set to launch a strategic stockpile of critical minerals. It'll be made up of gallium, cobalt, and rare earths used in everything from smartphones to jet engines.⁣
⁣
The initiative, dubbed "Project Vault," aims to protect US manufacturers from supply shocks and wild price swings as Washington tries to wean itself off Chinese-dominated markets.⁣
⁣
For the White House, the bet is that locking in long-term prices and inventories now could mean fewer factory shutdowns (and fewer headaches) the next time Beijing tightens the tap.⁣

After evidently spending his Sunday night watching the Grammy Awards, Donald Trump threatened to sue host Trevor Noah over an Epstein island joke he made during the broadcast. 😬

Noah made the joke after Trump’s name was mentioned numerous times in the latest batch of Epstein documents. 📃

During the broadcast of the 68th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1, host Trevor Noah — the comedian podcaster that used to host The Daily Show — made a joke about former President Bill Clinton and current President Trump making visits to Epstein’s infamous island, where numerous crimes took place.

In the 3 million Epstein documents that were released last week, President Donald Trump is mentioned more than 1,000 times. 🤷‍♂️

🗣️ - “There you have it, song of the year! Congratulations, Billie Eilish. Wow. That’s a Grammy that every artist wants — almost as much as Trump wants Greenland. Which makes sense because, since Epstein’s gone, he needs a new island to hang out with Bill Clinton. I told you, it’s my last year! What are you going to do about it?”

In his latest attack on free speech, Trump then threatened to sue Noah for his remarks, while continuing to claim that he’s never been to Epstein island (he has not, however, denied any of the specific allegations that were listed in the recently released documents). 🤔

Among the allegations against Trump in the latest batch of Epstein files are numerous, yet still unconfirmed, instances of sexual assault, including of a 13-year-old girl.

Billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates has addressed his latest connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Gates’ name appeared in the latest batch of Epstein docs that were released by Congress last week. 📁

Like essentially everyone else that has been listed in the Epstein files, Bill Gates has long denied any wrongdoing and continued to tow that line in his latest interview.

Speaking to an Australian news outlet, Gates said that the viral email from the files — which alleged that Gates gave an STI that he contracted from “Russian girls” to his ex-wife Melinda, leading him to ask Epstein for medicine he could slip her to cure it — is “false.” 🤔

📧 - “To add insult to the injury you then subsequently with tears in your eyes, implore me to please delete the emails regarding your std, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda [French Gates], and the description of your p—-,” Epstein’s July 2013 email reportedly read.

Gates, however, has come out publicly to say that the email was “never sent” and is “false,” while hypothesizing that the disgraced sex criminal drafted the email to “attack him.” 😬

Back in 2011, while Gates admitted to having “several” dinners with Epstein, he claimed to have never visited his infamous island nor took part in any crimes.

🗣️ - “I was foolish to spend time with him. I was one of many people who regret ever knowing him. The more that comes out, the more clear it will be that, although the time was a mistake, it has nothing to do with that kind of behavior,” Gates said at the time.

On Friday, January 30, the United States Justice Department published over 3 million additional pages — with more than 2,000 videos and 180,000 images — in compliance (albeit delayed) with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. 🗂️

In addition to Gates, other powerful men named in the files include President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Bill Clinton, Sergey Brin, Steven Tisch, Woody Johnson, Ehud Barak, Steve Bannon, Brett Ratner, and many more.

"A lot of money is over there," Joe said. "She won't be the first or the last. There will be plenty more celebrities to take that check. Listen, when you on that side, they rockin'. So, tempting for people, I know. My views and how I was raised, and my family that I come from in Sumpter, S.C., no."

"I can't be complicit," he continued. "Not and sleep and night. So, it bothers me when I see people that I know and have some sort of relationship with, and have had some conversations with...I've seen people grow to become multi-million dollar brands from Black sh*t, and Black people and Black consumerism. So, to watch you take the equity and stand over there, I can't jive with that.

Nicki Minaj's support of Donald Trump has reached new heights in recent months, as she has spoken at multiple MAGA and Trump-related events.

Most recently, she showed up to Trump's Trump Accounts Summit in Washington D.C., where she called Trump the greatest POTUS ever. She later revealed that she had received  a free Trump Gold Card, which is supposed to grant citizenship for a $1 million fee. However, the White House revealed the card Nicki received was only a "memento."

And the particular details of the past week—the demonstrations and the tear gas in Minneapolis, the ‘Melania’ ads covering the Sphere, the themed macarons at the White House, the scurrying-away of many who were professionally involved with this documentary—should be remembered long after the film itself is forgotten.” 🎨: Akshita Chandra / The Atlantic. He was $900M in debt - but he didn’t quit.
His belief, resilience, and mindset turned one of the biggest financial setbacks into a massive comeback. He stayed focused, kept building, and eventually rose back into billionaire status.

That’s the power of never giving up.

This clip is from Donald Trump’s first appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, aired on February 27, 2004, where he spoke about his hit TV show The Apprentice and his iconic catchphrase, “You’re fired.”

Justin Gaethje says he only celebrates with a backflip after a knockout 🔥🤸‍♂️

“It’s pretty much my rule: if I knock somebody out, then the rush of emotions is too much, where I have to flip off something. But if you don’t get that knockout, there really isn’t a spike of emotion. So I’m sure to do a backflip on the White House lawn.”

Lots of American car buffs fall in love with Japan’s pint-size minicars. They’re clever, cute, cost-conscious and — much to devotees’ dismay — all but unattainable in the U.S.

After President Donald Trump’s October summit trip to Japan, he became so smitten with the economical kei jidosha, Japanese for “light vehicle,” that he signed an executive order encouraging them to be built and sold in the U.S., partly to counter car affordability concerns.

But take it from me, an American living in Japan for two decades and surrounded on a daily basis by these toaster ovens on wheels: You don’t want a kei car, nor should you.

Here are the top reasons bringing these most Japanese of Japanese cars to American roads is doomed to flop. From their size and power to the business case, they just won’t fit in.
