Compassion is taking action from that state. Empathy is feeling with someone. Compassion is doing something about it. One is awareness, the other is movement. Both are essential for meaningful connection and leadership. When you see the challenge clearly and know you have skills to navigate it, you can build genuine confidence. The trap for naturally talented people: You never learned this calculus because success came easily. The reason people change is because of pain... The reason we grow is because we get uncomfortable and embrace being uncomfortable.  Being honest with the pain we feel is usually the prime mover for people to do the work necessary to push to the edge. And… There's a difference between pain and suffering.  We're all suffering — we all have emptiness or dark corners inside our spirit that aren't fulfilled.  When I'm talking about pain, I'm talking about acknowledging that suffering, being in touch with it enough to say "I don't want to do this anymore. This is not the person I want to become." Pain isn't the enemy — it's the messenger that change is needed. #findingmastery #psychology #mastery #fyp #tiktok
