At 27, Filipino-American @JackieBuntan made history as the inaugural ONE Women’s Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion.
Born and raised in Los Angeles by Filipino immigrant parents, she left school to pursue an unorthodox dream in combat sports. Sixteen years later, her confidence and discipline continue to carry her through the ring and beyond. “If you’re doing the work for yourself, good things will happen for you,” she says, a reminder she shares to other aspiring fighters that strength can take many forms.
