Lots to be thankful for in year 2 on the Korn Ferry Tour! I’m thankful for my wife @ashleyydossey. What a joy it’s been watching her walk through pregnancy and transition into becoming a mom in December. Tucker will have the best momma! Her kindness, support, humor and confidence are second to none. I’m thankful for my family, the caddy Dossey’s. I’ll never forget walking the fairways with my dad and brothers while my mom and Shlee get their words out. Luke quit his job this year and helped me play my best. I’m grateful for the 6 months we had together and his ability to push me to be the best version of myself on the course. All good things must come to an end & big things are in store for Luke. I’m thankful for my sponsors. They allow me to have peace on the golf course and provide extra belief in myself. Awesome feeling when your sponsors feel like family. I’m thankful for friends at home & on the road. I’m blessed to live out my dream but it can be lonely. Ashley and I are surrounded by so many people that spur us on and pour into us. We have the best friends. I always say I can’t wait for a break from golf but after two days I’m already itching to get back out there. I love this game and I love the work it requires to strive to be the best. A year ago I was consumed by golf, now I feel golf is really just what I get to do. A lot of that is because the people around me, encouraging me to place my identity in Jesus instead of this fickle game. Been dreaming of playing on the PGA Tour for as long as I can remember. Stings to have gotten so close last week but couldn’t be more excited with how far my game has come. When I got home late Sunday night, I was reminded that my warrior of a wife and sweet Tucker will always be more important than holding a PGA Tour card. Can’t wait to start year 3 on the Korn Ferry and will always press on through the good and the bad.
