Romania might be getting a massive Dracula-themed park🦇 A billion-dollar project called DraculaLand is planned just outside Bucharest, turning one of the world’s most iconic legends into a full-scale destination. The resort is expected to span over 160 hectares, with six themed lands and more than 40 attractions inspired by Transylvanian folklore and Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The plans go far beyond a theme park. Think three themed hotels with around 1,200 rooms, a massive water park and thermal spa, a large entertainment arena, and an entire shopping and dining district built around the experience. If it actually comes together, this would be one of Europe’s most ambitious entertainment projects. But with a billion-dollar budget, a 2027 target, and a project of this scale without ground broken yet, there’s still plenty of skepticism around whether it gets fully built as planned or ever opens at all.
