One of the most important conversations we had at the Longevity Leadership Conference was our panel on Peptides, Cell Factors & Hormonal Optimization.

I had the privilege of moderating a thoughtful discussion with Dr. Resham Uttamchandani @dr.resham.uttamchandani of @conciergemdla, Reshma Patel @integrative_pa of Ananda Integrative Medicine, and Dr. Arvind Chakravarthy @docregentherapy of @regentherapyofficial.

Earlier that morning, Sanjiv Lal @chiefregentherapy spoke about the secretome as the next evolution beyond the current conversation around stem cells and exosomes. That set the stage for a deeper discussion around how cell factors, hormonal optimization, and peptides may work together—not as isolated interventions, but as part of more integrated, clinically guided protocols.

That distinction matters.

We are in a moment where more people are taking ownership of their health, and I believe that is a good thing. But we also need to be honest about the complexity of human biology.

Randomly injecting compounds, stacking protocols from social media, or treating the body like a DIY experiment without proper medical oversight can create real risks.

The opportunity ahead is not just more access.

It is better education, better clinical frameworks, better research, and more synergistic protocols that account for the fundamentals: sleep, nutrition, exercise, metabolic health, hormones, recovery, and cellular signaling.
