Language of Birds (AI Animated Short Film) I created a short animated film inspired by a folk tale about a time when humans could understand the language of birds. It is a story about a lost rhythm with nature, and how the growing noise of civilisation slowly distances us from the quiet meaning of the sounds around us. I drew inspiration from the iconic Kalighat painting style and used it as a starting point to develop a visual language that felt fluid and suited to animation. Clean, bold strokes, expressive almond-shaped eyes, simple yet striking compositions, and soothing colours became the foundation of this world. The film was created using animated elements developed with Generative AI tools in @adobefirefly These generated elements were composited and refined in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects, before being edited together with music, sound design, and voiceover in Adobe Premiere. I had a lot of fun creating this film from scratch. It was a rare delight to fully immerse myself in this poetic world and shape a visual narrative driven purely by exploration and intuition. 🕊️

Language of Birds (AI Animated Short Film) I created a short animated film inspired by a folk tale about a time when humans could understand the language of birds. My mother used to tell me this beautiful folktale about the Sun getting tired and drifting away, and how we fly kites like little letters to call it back home. This film is my way of holding on to that memory. I reimagined it in a handcrafted, claymation-inspired storybook style, using AI and GenAI tools inside @adobefirefly to generate, animate and upscaling the visuals, refining them in @photoshop and shaping the film in Adobe Premiere.
