Jojo is a totally wild, untrained, but extremely friendly dolphin in Turks and Caicos . Absolutely incredible how clear this shot came out back when I captured it on the GoPro Hero 8. We rode around for a bit and tried to see if the dolphin wanted to surf our wave but instead it wanted to take a chill stroll- we spent about 30 minutes doing this. I thought for sure sending giant airs was gonna be a walk in the park with the winch at the wave pool but with a little breeze taking the board on top of trying to time the wave with the winch, it wasn’t as easy as I thought. A couple of these were actually very painful to say the least… but I had a blast trying! #epicfail #wipeout #bigair #skimboarding #wavepool #sendit #actionsports #extremesports

@solaglocal 🎥 || I always hear people tell me their skimboarding horror stories of when they tried skimboarding but it turned into a painful yard sale. The crazy thing is there’s just a few things that someone could tell you that could dramatically lower your potential of painfully wiping out. Here’s a couple tips 👇: 1. Walk onto the board, don’t JUMP onto it… jumping all at once requires a lot more balance when you get on. If you can trust the “1 step drop” and walk-on back foot first, you can seamlessly transfer your momentum onto the board. 2. Get on from behind, NOT THE SIDE. Getting on from the side will instantly throw off the direction of your momentum and almost always in disaster. Getting on from behind allows your momentum to seamlessly flow forward and keep you balanced and moving in the right direction. #howtoskimboard #skimboarding #skimboard #lifehacks #tips #howto

I remember when I thought I had the next best wakesurf product idea of a “retractable rope” years ago, and well, @wakefx_ went and made it a reality with their product ‘Rope Pal’ ! We had the pleasure of putting it to the test behind the 2025 @mcboatcompany XStar and it didn’t disappoint!
