@solaglocal 🎥 || I always hear people tell me their skimboarding horror stories of when they tried skimboarding but it turned into a painful yard sale. The crazy thing is there’s just a few things that someone could tell you that could dramatically lower your potential of painfully wiping out. Here’s a couple tips 👇:
1. Walk onto the board, don’t JUMP onto it… jumping all at once requires a lot more balance when you get on. If you can trust the “1 step drop” and walk-on back foot first, you can seamlessly transfer your momentum onto the board.
2. Get on from behind, NOT THE SIDE. Getting on from the side will instantly throw off the direction of your momentum and almost always in disaster. Getting on from behind allows your momentum to seamlessly flow forward and keep you balanced and moving in the right direction. #howtoskimboard #skimboarding #skimboard #lifehacks #tips #howto

Did @wakefx_ finally make the product we’ve all been talking about for years?! I remember when I thought I had the next best wakesurf product idea of a “retractable rope” years ago, and well, @wakefx_ went and made it a reality with their product ‘Rope Pal’ ! We had the pleasure of putting it to the test behind the 2025 @mcboatcompany XStar and it didn’t disappoint! This @wakefx_ ‘Rope Pal’ is surprisingly convenient and makes too much sense if you’re tired of making sure someone is always on rope duty. #wakesurfing #wakeboat #wakesurf #wakesurfproducts #retractablewakesurfrope
