… and I will send you the link to our favorite closed system earning tablet for kids K to 5th grade! It covers all the core subjects and adapts to your child, pushing them ahead where they’re strong, or helping them review where they need more practice. We’ve loved having this as part of our homeschool rhythm!

When I first decided to homeschool, my biggest worry was social interaction — especially for my oldest, who loves his friends and play time. That first year, I joined a homeschool co-op without knowing much about it, simply because I thought: he needs friends.

What I noticed? One day a week was more than enough to fill our social cup. Any more than that, and it actually started pulling us away from getting schoolwork done.

I think, as parents, we naturally want to protect our kids from the mistakes we made. For me, being around peers constantly shaped me in ways that weren’t always healthy. I wanted my boys to still have friends and community, but also have boundaries — places where the focal point was clear, whether that’s school or sports. That’s why hockey practice is great. The boys connect, but they’re focused.

For us, one day a week in community is a sweet spot. It gives us structure and connection, but leaves the rest of the week open to stay productive and steady at home. That rhythm just works for our family — and it’s why tools like Smile Zemiare so valuable. A closed-system learning tablet with K–5 core subjects, it lets each of my boys learn at their level, whether that means jumping ahead or practicing something again.

It’s not about isolating — it’s about being intentional. Every family is different, but this balance has been the right one for us. 💛

Comment “HAIR” ✂️ … and I’ll send you the link to my favorite tool for cutting hair: the WAHL Cordless Deluxe Chrome Pro — now available at Walmart! 150-minute runtime, zero snags on baby fine hair, and cordless freedom to cut anywhere the moment takes you (including on the floor!).

You know what they say: The days are long, but the years are short.

Somehow I have an eleven year old and an eleven month old — and it feels just like yesterday we took my oldest, Rhett (11), to his very first haircut.

We walked into the barbershop together, my husband and I, so excited. The kindest woman was there. And before we even knew what was happening… she reached for the clippers with a Guard 1 and started buzzing off his beautiful baby hair.

Part of me wanted to cry. THE BABY HAIR. Gone. But then — as the hair fell — his little face started to shine. My husband and I looked at each other. We loved it.

And, that’s motherhood... and life, now, isn’t it?

Sometimes we build this picture in our heads of what motherhood is supposed to look like. The first haircut. The first tooth. The first day of school. And usually? It doesn’t go exactly as planned. But if you stay flexible… sometimes it turns out even better than you imagined.

And now? I get to cut each of my boys’ hair. At every stage. From my very first nervous attempt to today — cutting Cal’s hair for the very first time.

Imperfectly perfect. And I wouldn’t trade a single moment. 🤍

...for the link to our favorite learning tablet! We’ve been using Smile Zemi since we started homeschooling, but it works just as well for kids in traditional school to supplement learning! Smile Zemi is designed for kinder through 5th grade and covers all the core subjects, aligned with common core standards. One of my favorite parts? It’s a closed system — so no wandering off onto the internet or endless distractions.

But, yay - happy 2025-2026 school year!! Did summer fly? I honestly can’t believe the first day of homeschool is here. And even more — that we’re actually doing this. Me? Homeschooling? Seriously? While this is year three of homeschooling for us, it’s my very first year teaching three kids at once. To say I was nervous about the load is an understatement.

Thankfully, I’ve organized our days to work with the chaos of real life (including a new baby in tow ). And having Smile Zemi for those transition moments has been a total game changer.

But here’s the best part — the first day came… and we DID IT. Are there still kinks to work out? Absolutely. But I feel more confident than ever about the year ahead, and my ability to make sure homeschool is never second best.

Let’s do this. 🙌🏻 Smile Zemi Partner

Comment “PANTRY” …

…and I’ll send you the exact @thecontainerstore product list so you can recreate it at home! 🙌🏻

Here’s what we used for our Pinterest-worthy pantry:
	•	Ribbed Shelf Liner (clean base, protects shelves)
	•	Callan Baskets + Bin Clips + Labels (hide clutter, keep categories clear)
	•	Stackable Bins (snacks—grab + restock fast)
	•	Cereal Dispensers (kids pour, easy to see when low)
	•	Montana Glass Canisters (baking + staples, pretty + space-saving)
	•	Gold Stamped Metal Bins (sturdy storage for cans + heavy items)
	•	Rowan Acacia Bins (open storage with labels—functional + stylish)
	•	Clear Shelf Divider Bins (keeps categories from drifting)
	•	Rowan Turntables (sauces + spreads, no lost jars)
	•	Rowan Expanding Shelf (tiered storage for cans)
	•	Spice Drawer Organizer + Jars (dreamiest spice setup)
	•	6-Section Utensil Trays (tools + extras)
	•	Acrylic Book Stand (coffee + display piece)

The Strategy:
– Hide clutter (high baskets conceal ugly packaging)
– Keep daily-use items visible (clear jars = less waste/stress)
– Build independence (snack bins + cereal kids can reach)
– Label everything (keeps the whole family accountable)

Why it matters:
Before: clutter everywhere, stress every time we walked in.
Now: calm, organized, saves time + money. Kids know the system, so do we.

Will it last?
Yes! (I hope so!) … with a 5-min grocery-day tune-up: restock jars, toss extras, slide back in place.

Because moms don’t just need pretty pantries… we need pantries that work: bringing peace, saving time, and looking good while doing it. 🙌🏻❤️✨

Comment “TABLET...”

... to get your Smile Zemi At-Home Learning Tablet. A perfect gift for the holidays! Honestly? We’ve loved our Smile Zemi tablets for as long as we’ve homeschooled. It’s one of those tools that quietly becomes essential: interactive lessons, engaging practice, confidence-building skills… all designed for K–5 and aligned with Common Core. And selfishly? It gives me a little breathing room between lessons and baby naps to get my head on straight. A gift as a homeschool, stay-at-home, working mom.

But, homeschool: year 3? I can still feel the moment I pulled my kids out of private school to try something new. But, homeschool? Me? I wasn’t Pollyanna. I didn’t live on a farm. I didn’t fit the stereotype. But something in me craved… autonomy. A different pace. A different rhythm. A different way of shaping our days.

This video is a glimpse into one of our better days. (Because some days are absolutely not this.) But every day, I wake up trying. I’m sure I fall short. But even in the falling short, I know this is where we are supposed to be.

Homeschool is certainly not for everyone, but here’s what I’d gently encourage—especially if you’ve ever wondered about school, or structure, or the way your life is unfolding:

Question everything.
Not just your kids’ education… but the caliber of your life.
How is it going… really?
Does it feel aligned? Is it nourishing you? Does it feel like the life you hoped you’d be living?

And if the answer is no…
I hope you feel empowered to try something new. Even if it’s small. Or possibly if it’s big. Even if it’s imperfect. Especially if it scares you a little. Sometimes the smallest pivot becomes the chapter you were meant to write all along. ❤️ @smilezemi_official #SmileZemiPartner

Comment “CAR” …

…to get the link to the VERY FIRST thing I bought for my car (under $10… and honestly something every mom can benefit from). 🙌🏻

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT MOM CAR?!

Here’s my analogy… Picking a new car feels a lot like picking a puppy. It has to fit your family: the size, the energy level, the speed of life you’re living right now. And that’s why car shopping isn’t really a science.

Everyone will swear their answer is the answer. I heard it all: Expedition Max. Minivan. Escalade. “You need this.” “You’ll regret that.” Experts, friends, strangers in my DMs (all very confident). But here’s the thing: the “best” car doesn’t exist. There’s only what fits you, assuming the budget allows it.

I narrowed it down to two: the Suburban and the Expedition Max. And the funny part? I only went to one dealership. I fully intended to go to Ford… but Suburbans are such a classic mom car. I could already picture myself in one. Something about it just felt right.

I pulled into the Chevy lot and honestly… my mind was made up before I even got out of the car. I never went across the street. I thought I wanted the Premier because I wanted the lighter interior. But the High Country was sitting there, it was year-end, timing mattered, and I DEFINITELY had that little gut-punch moment when I saw the price tag. 😳 Still, I drove it home happy.

This was the first car I’ve ever bought completely on my own. No help. No hand-me-down decision. No “this makes more sense for everyone else.” (well, wrap in my entire family as the catalyst for this size vehicle… but, you get the point). Just me, pointing and saying, “That one.” And instead of feeling flashy, it felt… diligently earned.

It reminded me of those quiet dreams you have years earlier—the ones about the kind of life you want to create. Not for show. Just for living. And realizing one of those small dreams came true? That part felt really cool.

So here’s to all the mamas—all of us. We work hard. Relentlessly. And as I look ahead to 2026, I’m calling it my play-hard year. The last decade has been about building, grinding, and holding it all together. Now it’s time to enjoy what we’ve built. ✌🏻

Comment “HAIR” and I’ll send you the exact hair cutting supplies I use so you can DIY cut your boy’s hair at home! 🙌🏻

HOW TO CUT A BOY’S HAIR AT HOME ✂️ (yes, really)

Here are the 6 steps...

1️⃣ Create the Base: Use a #3 guard and clip upward from the nape, about ¾ up the head (this sets your base length).
2️⃣ Blend: Switch to a #2 guard and flick upward to blend the transition line. Clip the bottom and around the sides and sideburns.
3️⃣ Clean Up the Edges: Use a trimmer to clean up the sideburns (I cut around the midpoint of the ear or slightly higher), neckline, and around the ears. *I used two versions in this video, both trimmers do the trick!
4️⃣ Cut: Lightly spray the top of head with water, comb up, grab the hair between fingers, and cut with shears (vertical cuts to shorten, horizontal for evening). I usually cut the front diagonally, the top vertically, and the back horizontally.
5️⃣ Final Blend: Go back with the #3 guard to refine and blend any uneven spots.
6️⃣ Style: with gel and hairspray. We use got2b Glued gel + hairspray for that classic high and tight finish!

And ... you’ve got yourself the perfect DIY at-home boy’s haircut. Not gonna lie... we’ll still hit up Great Clips or Hair Cuttery if we’re in a pinch. But as a busy working, homeschool, stay-at-home mom to 5 boys, having the option to cut the boys’ hair at home is a game changer. Total time is probably 20 minutes a head, so maybe an hour and a half to cut everyone.

And I swear… when their hair looks good, I parent better 😂
You’re capable. And you’ve got this. 💪✂️

Comment “SKI” ⛷️

...to learn how to plan the ultimate family ski trip to Beaver Creek! And while you’re planning, download the My Epic App. It allows parents to digitally check kids into ski school, track skill progress, view in-lesson photos and updates throughout the day, and get real instructor feedback. It’s genuinely impressive.

But @beavercreek… my gosh. We loved it. Here’s why.

The terrain is intentionally designed for families, especially young skiers, to grow and progress over time. I’ve been skiing my entire life, and I thoroughly enjoyed the mountain: it’s large enough to feel full and interesting, yet manageable enough that you can explore most of it in a day without feeling overwhelmed.

And with five boys at five different skill levels, Beaver Creek delivered for every single one of them:
•Magic Carpet + Bunny Runs for my 4-year-old, Quade
•Greens and Blues through ski school for my level-4, 6-year-old, Beauden
•Black diamonds and challenging terrain for my 8- and 10-year-olds, Vance and Rhett

Plus everything in between!

Add in top-tier instructors at a truly world-class ski school, and it’s hard to find a downside.

If you’re hoping to become a ski family, or elevate the experience you already have, Beaver Creek is worth serious consideration. I promise… like me… it might just blow your mind.

Where we stayed: The Pines Lodge

We loved it. Ski-in/out access, on-site equipment rentals, afternoon hot cocoa and cookies, heated pool and spa, boot storage, and a layout that actually works for families.

There’s still so much to share about Beaver Creek (the charming little village, complimentary shuttles, on-mountain dining and treats, Allie's Cabin)… but this is a good place to start! #TeamEpic #ad

Comment “SCHOOL” …

…to get my free mini guide on how to start homeschooling and for links to the products I use in this video!

Homeschool? Isn’t fringe. I know this because I grew up mainstream. I loved my public school years but if I’m honest, I mostly learned how to conform to the system… and get into plenty of (secret) trouble with my peers.

It wasn’t until my last year of college that I discovered entrepreneurship and realized you don’t have to follow the rules everyone else sets. You can create your own path. The irony? My dad was a real estate entrepreneur, but somewhere along the way I convinced myself I had to fit inside a box.
News flash: life doesn’t have rules. Outside of the law, you really can build it how you want.

So when I became a mom, I started asking myself: is sending my kids away to school really the only way to learn? And not just that—I missed them. I wanted to experience the fullness of growing up together. To learn on our terms.

And with AI and technology disrupting education and careers faster than ever, I can’t help but think the old system isn’t the only system anymore. But even if it weren’t changing? These years at home with my boys have been priceless. Honestly my favorite chapter of motherhood, just prolonged.

So if you’re wondering about homeschool like I was—or you feel a pull toward something different—hi, that’s me. Don’t be afraid to step outside the box. Your child might just be one of the ones who pushes the world forward.

And I’ll say this clearly: I don’t believe school is bad. There is absolutely a place for it, and in many ways schools do things really well. I could never compete - it’s like comparing Coca Cola to me brewing kombucha in my kitchen. But for me, I had to ask: who do I want to be? And who do I want my kids to become?

For us, it all starts in the kitchen… around the table, building from there. And that foundation? That’s golden.

But for me, I had to ask: who do I want to be? And who do I want my kids to become? For us, it all starts in the kitchen… around the table, building from there. And that foundation? That’s golden.
Comment “SKI” to learn how to plan the ultimate family ski trip to Beaver Creek! ⛷

Our family visited Beaver Creek Ski Resort, and I was literally told not to share this secret… But no gatekeeping here. Here’s why @beavercreek is quietly one of the best luxury, family-first ski resorts in the country ⬇️

10️⃣ Gated resort community
You drive through a formal gate to enter Beaver Creek. Less traffic, calmer energy, and a noticeably safer, quieter arrival.

9️⃣ Family-friendly terrain that actually teaches kids to ski
Wide, gentle runs and true learning zones like Red Buffalo Park and McCoy Park = confident kids, real progression, and way fewer tears.

8️⃣ On-mountain treat stops (this matters): Candy Cabin, Cookie Cabin, Ice Cream Parlour … these aren’t gimmicks. Kids will ski one more run when there’s a reward waiting.

7️⃣ A walkable village built for families
Ice skating rink, gelato, pizza, elevated dining, heated escalators (huge win in ski boots), and everything is easy to navigate.

6️⃣ Family-first luxury lodging
Ski-in/ski-out options like @thepineslodge mean you can rent gear, store gear, ski, change, swim, reset, and never touch your car. Luxury that actually works for families.

5️⃣ Complimentary, on-call shuttles that remove logistics stress. No parking battles. This alone makes ski days feel manageable with kids. Just download the Village Connect app!

4️⃣ One of the best ski schools in the country
Small class sizes, elite instructors, real progress—and parents receive updates through the My Epic app with photos, notes, and skill summaries. This is how lifelong skiers are made.

3️⃣ 3 PM cookie time (yes, really)
Fresh-baked cookies handed out every afternoon.

2️⃣ Allie’s Cabin
A mid-mountain classic accessible by a snow cat-pulled sleigh. Cozy, iconic, and one of those places kids remember long after the trip ends.

1️⃣ Epic Day Pass value makes it sustainable. Since our whole family has Epic Day Passes, we get access to Beaver Creek, discounts on rentals, food, and ski school, and the ability to come back year after year without it feeling unrealistic.

If you’re wondering whether to go for another baby... please, don’t ask me. 🤍

I’ll open the comments instead, and let other women share how they knew they were ready and how they knew they were done.

After a decade of being a mom and talking to women across every season of it, here’s what I’ve noticed: some women feel done in their bones, and some of us never really do.

If you’re asking me personally — am I glad we had a fifth? I think you know what I’ll say. Another baby brought a kind of joy and unity to our family that my older boys can feel as deeply as I do. Is it crazy? Absolutely. Is there time for much beyond motherhood and work? Not really, lol. Do I ever wonder what life would have looked like if I’d stopped at one or two? Rarely … and never with longing. Never as if I’d made a mistake.

Because here’s how I think about the decision: it’s not about whether the decision is right. It’s about fiercely, loyally, protectively making it right once it’s made. I’ve never doubted any of my babies, because I’m not someone who leaves a decision open to doubt. I close the door behind it and build that life on the other side.

Even after Cal (technically our sixth boy), I still hear a little whisper ha!! What’s grounding me now isn’t certainty — it’s capacity. Five is a full house, and giving each of them the version of me they deserve is the work of my life. Most days, there’s no margin left.

But on the rare day I catch a sliver of margin and wink to myself: you could handle one more :)

The weight of motherhood is a gift. It changed me at 26 when I became a mom for the first time, and it has kept changing me every year since. I have not found anything in this life as profound, as impactful, or as worth the cost as bringing a child into the world. And perhaps that is why I keep perpetuating it.

So if you’re wondering whether to have another baby — please, don’t ask me. 🤍

… to get your Smile Zemi tablet today! A closed system tablet (meaning no access to the internet) featuring core subjects that meet kids where they’re at while still challenging them. It creates independent learners… and gives mom a minute. 🙌🏻

Not going to lie, my life feels full from the minute I wake up until my head hits the pillow. To people who ask how I do it? My response is… It’s not for everyone lol. 😂

Meaning, it’s hard. And often nonstop. And generally chaotic. But I believe that “hard” is what gives our lives purpose and meaning. Without it, we’re just wandering without purpose in the wind.

I call it friction.
And that friction? It’s the reason I’ve grown.
Every time I’ve leaned into the hard things—motherhood, homeschooling, business—it’s stretched me, strengthened me, and shaped me.

Because you don’t build something beautiful by chasing the easy.
You build it by doing the hard things again and again until it becomes who you are.

And maybe that’s the secret.
The life that looks full, chaotic, and impossible on the outside…
It is the very life that fills me with purpose on the inside.

So yes, it’s hard.
But that’s the friction I’ve chosen.
And it’s built the most meaningful life I could have imagined.

Comment “MORNING” ...

... to go deeper and get a written guide on all five steps that help you own your morning and elevate your life (in the words of Robin Sharma).

If I could go back and give advice to my new mom, younger self. It would be this : Master Your Mornings. Wake up two hours before your kids and BUY BACK YOUR TIME. You may not be able to afford childcare, but you can outwork the system.

How? By waking up early.

Most moms start to feel overwhelmed. And they have nowhere to turn. Give yourself a good look in the mirror. You are the answer.

…the five-step routine I actually use…

1️⃣ Wake at 5AM: two hours before your kids. Do not negotiate. This is how you win the day before it starts.
2️⃣ Calendar your day. Your brain is juggling a million loose ends. Brain-dump your priorities, pick your top 3 wins, and time-block them… when the day’s scheduled, you stop reacting and start leading.
3️⃣ Move. 10–20 minutes of movement: mobility, a short circuit, or a brisk walk. Movement clears your mind, gives you energy, and turns “I can’t” into “I got this.”
4️⃣ Quick tidy = tiny wins. Five minutes to clear counters, make beds, reset one room. Those small wins lower stress and prove to yourself you can handle the day.
5️⃣ Get ready. Rinse your face, throw on a real top, do one thing that makes you feel like yourself, this boundary event flips your brain from rest to action.

This routine is built on controllable wins. Kids are unpredictable, but your morning doesn’t have to be. Try it for 7 days: own the first two hours and watch how everything else bends with it.

👉 Want the full written guide? Comment MORNING and I’ll send it or DM you the download. Follow along my mom-of-five journey for real routines, no fluff.

Ad. Comment “SUMMER” for my summer favorites: our BOUNCE HOUSE!… and also the lazy Susan, serving trays, watermelon plates, galvanized bucket, and more.

Do you have what it takes to have a big family?
Honestly? I never thought I would. I grew up in a 2-child family and assumed I’d have the same. Then I started having babies, and it was the most miraculous experience of my life. But that alone doesn’t make someone want five. So what does?

I think it comes down to personality. The hardwiring of the parents. Me and my husband, and most big-family parents I’ve met, share a few traits, and I’ll just say them plainly:
→ They love having kids!
→ They’re okay pushing against norms. (They literally are one.)
→ They’re okay being uncomfortable. The more kids, the more there is to manage.
→ They like being challenged constantly: organization, logistics, giving time to each kid, finding creative solutions society won’t hand you.
→ They’re not chasing margin. They’re not optimizing for rest, or quiet, or time alone to just be. They like to be busy and find purpose (even when they’re head are exploding) in the chaos.

If you want a calmer, more restful life… a big family probably isn’t for you. And that’s not a judgment. That’s just the truth!

The thing I love most about it is the family unit. There’s less individualism (which has its pros and cons — less 1:1 time, for sure), but the togetherness is unmatched. The pack-of-them energy. The way the older ones raise the younger ones. The fact that no one is ever lonely in this house.

It’s not for everyone. But for the woman it IS for? There’s nothing else like it.🤍 @wayfair #wishyouwerehere #outdoor #WayfairPartner

I get asked all the time: how do you become an influencer (or my preferred title: content creator) as a stay-at-home mom?

My first response is usually silence. Because here’s the truth: if you want something badly enough, you’ll keep asking even when no one gives you an answer.

That’s how it was for me. I was curious. I tried. I failed. I stopped. I got curious again. I tried again. Eventually an audience grew. Then I hit another peak… followed by another roadblock.

So, then what? I pivoted. I studied creators gaining traction, not to copy them, but to learn frameworks and add my own spin.

I was part of the photo-only era on Instagram. I grew to 200k, and then TikTok blew up the model. Photos shifted to video, and overnight it felt like the five years I had built might disappear.

So, then what? I got curious again. I studied. I experimented. I adapted. Until finally, eight years in, I found my voice.

Because the real question isn’t how to become a content creator. The real question is: are you willing to stay curious enough to keep going?

To spark inspiration when everything feels dull.
To pivot when your platform plateaus.
To endure the sideways looks: “Who does she think she is?”
To stomach years of work with zero pay.
To wince at Reddit threads you never asked to see.
To ride the highs of viral views one day and silence the next.
To read every unfiltered thought typed through a keyboard.

And still, to keep showing up long enough to not only find your voice, but to have the courage to use it.

In the end? Every cringe, every doubt, every late night and early morning has been worth it. ❤️

…and I’ll send you my outfit details! This will also be my Christmas Card outfit 🙌🏻 boots are from Heritage Boot Co. 🤎

Now… something’s been on my heart this morning. I saw a woman online talking about how “out of touch” certain lives look on social media. She was a beautiful woman, holding a baby, sharing her frustration.

And I felt something in me pause.
Not because she was wrong. But because I know that feeling.
That belief that what you see is for “other people.”
Not for you.

But here’s the truth I’ve learned having lived on both sides…
Nothing is as perfect as it seems, and simultaneously, complaining is the language of someone who has given up on the possibility of change.

Possibility is the birthplace of everything God has ever done in my life. You don’t end up living a dream life because it was easy, or perfect, or handed to you. But rather the opposite: you spend years breaking patterns, rewiring mindsets, and refusing to let your past determine your future.

Just like everyone else, you had those same moments of heartbreak, failure, and decisions that could’ve taken you out. Completely. But, instead of give up and complain, you did the only thing you knew how to do: show up anyway. Because following your dreams relentlessly seemed better than resigning yourself to a life built on excuses.

So when I hear someone say, “These lives feel out of touch,”
my soul aches… not with guilt, but with compassion. Because I was her once upon a time, but the truth is: your life changes the moment you believe you’re allowed to want more.

Allowed to build more.
Allowed to pursue more.
Allowed to create a life that feels full: spiritually, emotionally, financially, relationally, without apologizing for it.

Please don’t shrink to make your life seem more “acceptable.”
And don’t apologize for walking in the very blessings you prayed for. I’m a mom to five boys… who believed God wasn’t done writing my story. And I still don’t. And I want you to believe the same about yours.

COMMENT “SHOP” …

… to shop all my systems-oriented Wayfair finds: the sports storage, laundry baskets + hampers, toy closet organization, and more! 🙌🏻

Whenever I’m struggling as a mom, my instinct isn’t just “try harder.”
It’s: How do I be a good mom here? A calm mom. A present mom.

Yet, there’s an issue. It’s one thing to have goals. It’s another thing to build systems that support those goals. James Clear says you don’t rise to the level of your goals—you fall to the level of your systems. And this applies directly to your home and environment.

Your house is quietly shaping behavior all day long.
What gets used.
What gets avoided.
What becomes the default.

If a room isn’t supporting your goals as a mom (or your kids’ growth) then change the room.

If you hate doing laundry, the problem might not be laundry. It might be the system surrounding it.
If you hate the chaos when your kids come inside,
it’s probably not the kids… it’s the lack of a clear stopping point.
If you hate how much TV gets watched,
it’s worth asking why that option is the easiest one.

Sometimes, as moms, we unknowingly sabotage the very systems that would help us most. And no, this isn’t about having more money or a “perfect” home. It’s about being strategic, thoughtfully and humbly, with what you already have.

I’ve found: The more intentional you get with the small things,
the more the big things begin to fall into place.
Your home decides what behavior happens most, not your motivation.
Design the environment. The habits will follow. @wayfair #Ad #WayfairPartner #NewYearNewYou #Wayfair

And no, this isn’t about having more money or a “perfect” home. It’s about being strategic, thoughtfully and humbly, with what you already have. I’ve found: The more intentional you get with the small things, the more the big things begin to fall into place. Your home decides what behavior happens most, not your motivation. Design the environment. The habits will follow. @wayfair #Ad #WayfairPartner #NewYearNewYou #Wayfair
Comment “MORNING”…

… to get my exact routine + structure.

I’ve built my entire life on early mornings. 5 AM is where - with a home full of boys - I’ve found space to think, to work, to just be before the chaos starts. It’s the reason I’ve been able to raise five kids, run a business, and still have something left in the tank for myself and the people I love.

But with a new baby, this season looks… different.

With sweet Cal here and growing fast, I’m learning that now, mornings are where I find my footing, but they’re also where I sometimes wobble. They’re been my secret sauce, but lately, they’ve been a successful struggle too.

They’ve been a place where grace and determination have to hold hands.

And yes, I’m a fifth-time mom, but that doesn’t make me immune to the frustration of losing rhythm. When I sleep in or fall behind, I feel it. Not because I’m chasing perfection, but because I know what life feels like when I wake up early and am proactively ahead and leading my own life.

Still, there’s something good happening in the slowdown too. Like Brianna Wiest says, there’s a quiet kind of strength that shows up when you stop trying to have it all figured out. A different kind of discipline. One that’s softer, but still strong.

This routine here, was honestly a day I felt ahead, but also in many ways behind.

Seven months into new-baby life, I’m learning that even when everything feels unsteady, the real journey belongs to the ones who keep showing up, growing stronger with every small, imperfect start.

Comment “30A” and I’ll send you our full 7-day 30A trip itinerary!

Fly into Panama City Beach, FL. Grab a car (I recommend getting one!) and it’s about 30 minutes to Watersound, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, Seacreast Beach, Seaside — these are the top areas you’ll want to stay.

This trip, we started at Camp Creek Inn (usually we stay at a house), definitely recommend, you get access to the Watersound Beach Club, a private pool and beach directly on the water! Next half of the trip, we are moving into a house for the rest of the week.

Watch my stories for all the behind-the-scenes and I’ll be sharing our 30A home rental details and the day-to-day as we go.

People always wonder how we travel with five boys.

Yes, I was once a young mom flying with one baby, in tears, not knowing how to do anything and overwhelmed by everything. But trip after trip, baby after baby, here’s the cool thing about motherhood: every single day, every moment, YOU GET BETTER.

I’ve got traveling down to a science now. Do things still go wrong? Absolutely. Yes, we still get the stares at the airport. Yes, my kids break down. And yes, sometimes I break down too (husband right there with me!). But for the most part? We’ve got this. A few weeks ago I traveled with all five kids alone and felt like I could do it with my eyes closed. 👏🏼

A few tips:
Give yourself grace. Every trip, you’ll iterate and improve.
Be prepared. Snacks, activities, electronics — they make all the difference with wiggly kids.
Know your SYSTEM. How do you pack? Who does what? My husband handles logistics and loading, I handle itineraries and packing. We work as a team.
Set expectations — and incentives — BEFORE you leave. I talk to my boys before each part of the trip: here’s what I expect, and here’s the consequence if we don’t meet it.

Traveling with kids is a lot of work, but it’s so rewarding. Buckle in. Put your head down. And let the hard work and the hard moments be the fuel that sharpens you along the way.

Happy traveling! ✈️
