Comment “PANTRY” … …and I’ll send you the exact @The Container Store product list so you can recreate it at home! 🙌🏻 Here’s what we used for our Pinterest-worthy pantry: •	Ribbed Shelf Liner (clean base, protects shelves) •	Callan Baskets + Bin Clips + Labels (hide clutter, keep categories clear) •	Stackable Bins (snacks—grab + restock fast) •	Cereal Dispensers (kids pour, easy to see when low) •	Montana Glass Canisters (baking + staples, pretty + space-saving) •	Gold Stamped Metal Bins (sturdy storage for cans + heavy items) •	Rowan Acacia Bins (open storage with labels—functional + stylish) •	Clear Shelf Divider Bins (keeps categories from drifting) •	Rowan Turntables (sauces + spreads, no lost jars) •	Rowan Expanding Shelf (tiered storage for cans) •	Spice Drawer Organizer + Jars (dreamiest spice setup) •	6-Section Utensil Trays (tools + extras) •	Acrylic Book Stand (coffee + display piece) The Strategy: – Hide clutter (high baskets conceal ugly packaging) – Keep daily-use items visible (clear jars = less waste/stress) – Build independence (snack bins + cereal kids can reach) – Label everything (keeps the whole family accountable) Why it matters: Before: clutter everywhere, stress every time we walked in. Now: calm, organized, saves time + money. Kids know the system, so do we. Will it last? Yes! (I hope so!) … with a 5-min grocery-day tune-up: restock jars, toss extras, slide back in place. Because moms don’t just need pretty pantries… we need pantries that work: bringing peace, saving time, and looking good while doing it. 🙌🏻❤️✨ #TheContainerStorePartner

This is how I cut all 5 of my boys’ hair (minus the baby!) —no training, no salon, just a little confidence and a counter stool. ✂️ What You Need: Wahl Hair Clipper Set ($95) Guards (#2 and #3) Scissors Comb Spray bottle Hair styling product (I love “got2be”) Edger/trimmer (comes with certain Wahl sets) A cape (to save them from the itchies) A counter stool (to save your back!) 💇‍♂️ Step-by-Step: Start with the #3 guard and buzz the bottom 75% of the head, including around the top side crown. Switch to the #2 guard to clean up and fade the lower section (optional). Use the trimmer blade to clean up sideburns (I go to mid-ear), around the ears, and the back of the neck (up to the natural hairline). Go back in with the #3 guard to blend the top edges. Spray the top with water and cut with scissors—vertically to shorten, horizontally to even it out. Trim the front straight across for a clean, polished finish. Style with a little product, admire your work, and vacuum the aftermath like a pro. All of this? From an untrained mom with a little faith in herself… and, honestly, a touch of desperation. But we’re moms. We do the impossible. The unthinkable. And yes—cutting hair is on the “can-do” list, Supermom. You can totally do this. And I’m 100% in your corner. 💛✂️ Go to this post on my IG and comment “HAIR” … … and I’ll send you the link to EVERYTHING you need to cut your son’s hair (and nothing you don’t!). Our family visited Beaver Creek Ski Resort, and I was literally told not to share this secret… But no gatekeeping here. Here’s why Beaver Creek is quietly one of the best luxury, family-first ski resorts in the country ⬇️ 10️⃣ Gated resort community You drive through a formal gate to enter Beaver Creek—less traffic, calmer energy, and a noticeably safer, quieter arrival. You feel the difference immediately. 9️⃣ Family-friendly terrain that actually teaches kids to ski Wide, gentle runs and true learning zones like Red Buffalo Park and McCoy Park = confident kids, real progression, and way fewer tears. 8️⃣ On-mountain treat stops (this matters) Candy Cabin, Cookie Cabin, Ice Cream Parlour … these aren’t gimmicks. They’re motivation. Kids will ski one more run when there’s a reward waiting. 7️⃣ A walkable village built for families Ice skating rink, gelato, pizza, elevated dining, heated escalators (huge win in ski boots), and everything is easy to navigate—no chaos, no long treks. 6️⃣ Family-first luxury lodging Ski-in/ski-out options like The Pines Lodge mean you can rent gear, store gear, ski, change, swim, reset, and never touch your car. Luxury that actually works for families. 5️⃣ Complimentary, on-call shuttles that remove logistics stress No parking battles. No dragging gear uphill. No “where did we leave the car?” moments. This alone makes ski days feel manageable with kids. Just download the Village Connect app! 4️⃣ One of the best ski schools in the country Small class sizes, elite instructors, real progress—and parents receive updates through the My Epic app with photos, notes, and skill summaries. This is how lifelong skiers are made. 3️⃣ 3 PM cookie time (yes, really) Fresh-baked cookies handed out every afternoon. It’s small, but it’s memorable—and it signals that this resort gets families. 2️⃣ Allie’s Cabin A mid-mountain classic accessible by a snow cat-pulled sleigh. Cozy, iconic, and one of those places kids remember long after the trip ends. 1️⃣ Epic Day Pass value makes it sustainable Since our whole family has Epic Day Passes, we get access to Beaver Creek, discounts on rentals, food, and ski school—and the ability to come back year after year without it feeling unrealistic. Final thought: As a die-hard ski family, we couldn’t believe how thoughtfully Beaver Creek is built for families who actually ski. This isn’t a one-and-done trip—it’s the kind of mountain families grow into. @epicpass #TeamEpic #ad

Check out Beaver Creek to plan the ultimate family ski trip! And while you’re planning, download the My Epic App. It allows parents to digitally check kids into ski school, track skill progress, view in-lesson photos and updates throughout the day, and get real instructor feedback. It’s genuinely impressive.   But Beaver Creek… my gosh. We loved it. Here’s why…   The terrain is intentionally designed for families—especially young skiers—to grow and progress over time. I’ve been skiing my entire life, and I thoroughly enjoyed the mountain: it’s large enough to feel full and interesting, yet manageable enough that you can explore most of it in a day without feeling overwhelmed.   And with five boys at five different skill levels, Beaver Creek delivered for every single one of them: Magic Carpet + Bunny Runs for my 4-year-old, Quade   Greens and Blues through ski school for my level-4, 6-year-old, Beauden   Black diamonds and challenging terrain for my 8- and 10-year-olds, Vance and Rhett   Plus everything in between   Add in top-tier instructors at a truly world-class ski school, and it’s hard to find a downside.   If you’re hoping to become a ski family—or elevate the experience you already have—Beaver Creek is worth serious consideration. I promise… like me… it might just blow your mind.   Where we stayed: The Pines Lodge We loved it. Ski-in/out access, on-site equipment rentals, afternoon hot cocoa and cookies, heated pool and spa, boot storage, and a layout that actually works for families.   There’s still so much to share about Beaver Creek (the charming little village, complimentary shuttles, on-mountain dining and treats, Allie's Cabin)… but this is a good place to start! @epicpass #TeamEpic #ad

HOW TO CUT A BOY’S HAIR AT HOME ✂️ (yes, really) Here are the 6 steps... 1️⃣ Create the Base: Use a #3 guard and clip upward from the nape, about ¾ up the head (this sets your base length). 2️⃣ Blend: Switch to a #2 guard and flick upward to blend the transition line. Clip the bottom and around the sides and sideburns. 3️⃣ Clean Up the Edges: Use a trimmer to clean up the sideburns (I cut around the midpoint of the ear or slightly higher), neckline, and around the ears. *I used two versions in this video, both trimmers do the trick! 4️⃣ Cut: Lightly spray the top of head with water, comb up, grab the hair between fingers, and cut with shears (vertical cuts to shorten, horizontal for evening). I usually cut the front diagonally, the top vertically, and the back horizontally. 5️⃣ Final Blend: Go back with the #3 guard to refine and blend any uneven spots. 6️⃣ Style: with gel and hairspray. We use got2b Glued gel + hairspray for that classic high and tight finish! And ... you've got yourself a DIY at-home boy's haircut salon. Not gonna lie... we’ll still hit Great Clips or Hair Cuttery if we’re in a pinch. But as a busy working, homeschool, stay-at-home mom to 5 boys, having the option to cut the boys’ hair at home is a game changer. And I swear… when their hair looks good, I parent better 😂 You’re capable. And you’ve got this. 💪✂️

Why we decided to homeschool our kids. Go to this post on my IG and comment “HOMESCHOOL”… … to get my mini guide on how to start homeschooling (when you have no idea what you’re doing!). This walks you through: ✨ The exact steps I took to transition out of traditional school 📚 How we chose our curriculum 🗓️ What our days really look like ✏️ Where to find a homeschool conference Comment “LINK” for any product links, including my jumpsuit, travel gear, and baby gear! Three years ago, I felt a tug on my heart. I had two boys in school, four kids total, and for the first time, things were getting clearer—not easier, just clearer. I missed my kids. What I thought would be an enriching school experience turned me into a mom manager—rushing, shouting, cramming in homework, missing connection. I started to resent the life I had once loved. Then came the nudge: There’s another way. On a whim (or maybe by God’s pull), I went to a homeschool conference. I wasn’t ready—but I was curious. That summer, I tried one subject a day. Then another. And somehow, step by step, we built something new. Something ours. No, it’s not easy. But I got back time. Connection. Peace. And for now—that’s everything. I don’t know if we’ll homeschool forever. But I know I’m proud of myself for listening… and doing the hard thing to stay close to the people who matter most.

Dear Younger Me, You’re going to miss this. One day, you’ll wake at 4:50 AM to your baby stirring beside you, his tiny hand on your chest. You used to resist the early mornings—wish them away. But future you? You’re fully awake for it. Because 4:50 AM means you get one more day to live the life you used to pray for. There’s no going back to bed—7:15 AM hockey is waiting. Your husband’s already in the kitchen, coffee brewing. You’ll walk in and hug him—the kind of hug you hold onto. Because you’ll know these blurry, busy mornings? They’re the ones you’ll ache for. You’ll lace up your shoes for a sunrise garage workout. Not because you have to, but because you want to. Because moving your body won’t be about chasing who you used to be— It’ll be about feeling strong for the life you’re carrying now. You’ll glance down at your soft belly. This time, you won’t flinch. You’ll smile. You’ll know—these are sacred childbearing years, and even these won’t last forever. You’ll wake your boys, pausing to soak it in. Grateful for their messy rooms, their bedheads, their tangled blankets. Because one day, their rooms will stay clean, their beds will stay made, and you’ll miss stepping over the clutter to kiss them good morning. You’ll catch your reflection— A beautiful, young 37-year-old woman looking back. You won’t rush past her. You won’t see lines. You’ll see a life fully lived. You’ll wrangle the baby, pack water bottles, and load the car. What used to feel like guilt? Now feels like gratitude. 7:15 AM hockey won’t feel like a chore. It’ll feel like answered prayers— A front-row seat to the life you once dreamed about. So please—don’t wish it away. With love, from the version of you who’s finally awake to it all. ❤️ Go to this post on my IG and … Comment “LINK” for any product links from this video. HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT MOM CAR?! Here’s my analogy… Picking a new car feels a lot like picking a puppy. It has to fit your family: the size, the energy level, the speed of life you’re living right now. And that’s why car shopping isn’t really a science. Everyone will swear their answer is the answer. I heard it all: Expedition Max. Minivan. Escalade. “You need this.” “You’ll regret that.” Experts, friends, strangers in my DMs (all very confident). But here’s the thing: the “best” car doesn’t exist. There’s only what fits you, assuming the budget allows it. I narrowed it down to two: the Suburban and the Expedition Max. And the funny part? I only went to one dealership. I fully intended to go to Ford… but Suburbans are such a classic mom car. I could already picture myself in one. Something about it just felt right. I pulled into the Chevy lot and honestly… my mind was made up before I even got out of the car. I never went across the street. I thought I wanted the Premier because I wanted the lighter interior. But the High Country was sitting there, it was year-end, timing mattered, and I DEFINITELY had that little gut-punch moment when I saw the price tag. 😳 Still, I drove it home happy. This was the first car I’ve ever bought completely on my own. No help. No hand-me-down decision. No “this makes more sense for everyone else.” (well, wrap in my entire family as the catalyst for this size vehicle… but, you get the point). Just me, pointing and saying, “That one.” And instead of feeling flashy, it felt… diligently earned. It reminded me of those quiet dreams you have years earlier—the ones about the kind of life you want to create. Not for show. Just for living. And realizing one of those small dreams came true? That part felt really cool. So here’s to all the mamas—all of us. We work hard. Relentlessly. And as I look ahead to 2026, I’m calling it my play-hard year. The last decade has been about building, grinding, and holding it all together. Now it’s time to enjoy what we’ve built. ✌🏻

I fought it at first. Homeschooling felt... foreign. But obedience has a way of leading you exactly where you’re meant to be. We pulled them from school, and somehow, God worked through every unknown. My business grew. Our family rhythm shifted. And eventually, a new door opened—this time, in Dallas, TX. We walked into this home (at the time fully under construction), and I saw this room: floor-to-ceiling windows, natural light, and a sliding door to the porch. I knew it was meant to be our schoolroom. Our anchor. Our together space. But the vision? I was stuck. Enter Kandis from @designbycambridge —she dreamed up a space that felt calm, intentional, and functional for our crew. When she showed me the rendering, I nearly cried. She said this was the room she was most excited about in the house. And, I couldn’t agree more. From blank white walls to the most peaceful, productive space in our home—this is where I’m reminded to follow my calling fully, and where I get to teach my boys to do the same. 🙌🏻 Forever grateful for the people who brought it to life! Kandis, you’re a gem and Manny, you’re a total PRO. Comment “ROOM” below and I’ll send you the links! 🙌🏻✏️ or head to https://liketk.it/5kiqw
Go to this post on my IG… and comment “5AM” and I’ll send you my guide on how to wake up at 5AM and build a science-backed routine of your own. It includes the 5 non-negotiables that give me boundless energy and laser-focus my brain to actually finish what I start. Comment “LINK” for any product links you see in this video—workout outfit, daily outfit, drink powders, all of it! Why did I start waking up at 5AM? Because by baby four, my life was full. And when your plate is full, you either fold—or you fly. I had finally built the life I once dreamed of—the husband, the family, the business. And I wasn’t going to let the weight of those blessings be the thing that crushed me. I wanted to enjoy it. I wanted to maintain it. I wanted to lead it well. Let’s be honest—dreams are beautiful. But they’re rarely easy. Everyone wants the dream. The house. The family. The purpose-driven career. But not everyone is willing to do what it takes to get them—or keep them. I learned that lesson early in motherhood. I thought it would feel magical all the time. But I quickly realized—just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Hard doesn’t cancel the dream—it sharpens you for it. So when life gets heavy, you have two options: You fold. Or you fly. I chose to fly. But to do that—I needed a system. Waking up at 5AM has been that system for me. It’s how I stay ahead, stay sharp, and stay in love with the life I built. **A final note: I didn’t wake up at 5AM in the beginning of newborn life. In those early weeks, my body was healing, I was adjusting, and rest was the priority. I also didn’t start waking up at 5AM until my fourth baby. So if you’re in the thick of those first baby seasons—give yourself grace. This isn’t about perfection or timelines. It’s about finding your rhythm when you’re ready and building systems that support the life you’re growing into. You’ll know when it’s time.

Way back when, I used to feel self-conscious about my ability to make and keep friends. In high school, I never really “fit” anywhere and if I did connect with someone, it was usually that one random friend I could just be myself around. In college, I tried to fit in. I joined a sorority. Later, I joined mom groups. Those served their purpose for that season. But now I’m 37, and my life is fuller than it’s ever been. 🙌🏻 I don’t prioritize friendship the same way. I have five kids, a husband I adore (and have to be intentional about making time for), and a business I love so much I can lose hours in it without noticing. What I’ve learned is that less is more. My standards for myself and my time are high, so why would I treat friendship any differently? It turns out the people I’m most intrigued with being friends with have their priority list stacked pretty similarly. I also think we forget that, historically, humans were never wired to manage 60 friendships at once. Nomadic life was about small, close-knit circles—people you trusted with your survival. Modern technology makes it possible to stay loosely connected to dozens of people, but that doesn’t mean it’s healthy or necessary. It’s okay to have boundaries, to let some relationships go, and to leave messages unanswered if it protects your peace. ✌🏻 If this doesn’t make sense to you, that’s okay! And if you aim to prioritize friendships, I truly think that is AWESOME. But for those of us who find wholeness in our homes and peace in solitude, I want you to know I am like that too. Neither is wrong. The best thing you can do is live in alignment with the way you’re wired! 🩶

They say “mom bod” like it’s something to tolerate. Like it’s a downgrade. A loss. A life sentence of being stuck. But after five babies? I see it differently. Motherhood didn’t take my body. It gave me a reason to fight for it. To rebuild it. To feel like me again—not in spite of being a mom, but because of it. No, I don’t believe in the “mom bod” narrative— Not if it means we stop showing up for ourselves. Not if it means we lose energy, clarity, or confidence. Because every time I move my body, every time I lace up my shoes, every time I choose strength over surrender— I feel more grounded. More present. More capable for them. This isn’t about bouncing back. It’s about rising forward. For them. And for me. 💪🏼

Do you have what it takes to have a big family? I never thought I would. I grew up in a 2-child family and assumed I'd have the same. Then I started having babies, and it was the most miraculous experience of my life. But that alone doesn't make someone want five. So what does? I think it comes down to personality. The hardwiring of the parents. Me and my husband, and most big-family parents I've met, share a few traits, and I'll just say them plainly: → They love having kids! → They’re okay pushing against norms. (They literally are one.) → They’re okay being uncomfortable. The more kids, the more there is to manage. → They like being challenged constantly: organization, logistics, giving time to each kid, finding creative solutions society won't hand you. → They’re not chasing margin. They’re not optimizing for rest, or quiet, or time alone to just be. They like to be busy and find purpose (even when they’re head are exploding) in the chaos. If you want a calmer, more restful life… a big family probably isn't for you. And that's not a judgment. That's just the truth! The thing I love most about it is the family unit. There's less individualism (which has its pros and cons, less 1:1 time, for sure), but the togetherness is unmatched. The pack-of-them energy. The way the older ones raise the younger ones. The fact that no one is ever lonely in this house. It's not for everyone. But for the woman it IS for? There's nothing else like it.

Go to this post on my IG and comment “SCHOOL” … …to get my free mini guide on how to start homeschooling and for links to the products I use in this video! 🙌🏻 Homeschool? Isn’t fringe. I know this because I grew up mainstream. I loved my public school years but if I’m honest, I mostly learned how to conform to the system… and get into plenty of (secret) trouble with my peers. It wasn’t until my last year of college that I discovered entrepreneurship and realized you don’t have to follow the rules everyone else sets. You can create your own path. The irony? My dad was a real estate entrepreneur, but somewhere along the way I convinced myself I had to fit inside a box. News flash: life doesn’t have rules. Outside of the law, you really can build it how you want. So when I became a mom, I started asking myself: is sending my kids away to school really the only way to learn? And not just that—I missed them. I wanted to experience the fullness of growing up together. To learn on our terms. And with AI and technology disrupting education and careers faster than ever, I can’t help but think the old system isn’t the only system anymore. But even if it weren’t changing? These years at home with my boys have been priceless. Honestly my favorite chapter of motherhood, just prolonged. So if you’re wondering about homeschool like I was—or you feel a pull toward something different—hi, that’s me. Don’t be afraid to step outside the box. Your child might just be one of the ones who pushes the world forward. And I’ll say this clearly: I don’t believe school is bad. There is absolutely a place for it, and in many ways schools do things really well. I could never compete - it’s like comparing Coca Cola to me brewing kombucha in my kitchen. But for me, I had to ask: who do I want to be? And who do I want my kids to become? For us, it all starts in the kitchen… around the table, building from there. And that foundation? That’s golden. ✏️

5AM Sunday Routine as a Family of 7… and my relationship with religion. I’ve been sharing my life online for about 10 years now—and one of the things I’ve been judged for the most? My faith. Not because I don’t have it—but because I don’t always express it the “expected” way. I love church. I read the Bible (admittedly could read it more!). I believe deeply in God. But I’ve also asked a lot of questions over the years… ones that don’t always fit inside the typical Christian box. But somewhere along the way, I realized: The most faithful thing I can do is live the life God is actually calling me to. Not the one that pleases the crowd. Not the one that earns approval. Not the one that fits perfectly into someone else’s mold. For me, that life is full. It’s loud. It’s showing up late to hockey and late to church. It’s five boys and a lot of questions. It’s trusting that quiet voice inside me more than the noise outside. … Because I’ve been talking to God since I was a little girl. And even when I don’t have the answers, I know He’s still with me - guiding me, directing me - even when I’m plain, old stubborn and wrong. So if you’ve ever wrestled with your faith, questioned how it’s supposed to look, or felt like you didn’t fit the mold—same. And maybe that’s exactly where God meets us.

Go to this post on my IG and comment “GUIDE” and I’ll DM you the mini guide—including a printable itinerary, grocery list, and all our travel favorites (backpacks, strollers, outfits + more). Comment “LINK” for any product links from this video. And don’t miss my IG stories—I’m showing all the behind-the-scenes travel chaos (and joy!) in real time. Traveling with kids. It used to overwhelm me. I remember our first trip with just one baby—how much I packed, how anxious I felt. But here’s the truth: you get better. Ten years and dozens of trips later, I’ve learned what actually helps. These 5 systems now go into every trip we take—and they’ve made all the difference. ✨ 1. Family itinerary – Everyone gets a say before we go, so there’s no last-minute decisions or arguments once we arrive. ✨ 2. Grocery delivery – I order ahead so food is waiting when we get there. No hangry meltdowns, no grocery runs. ✨ 3. Color-coded packing cubes – Everyone’s packed in one suitcase. Organized, simple, and no “Mom, where’s my stuff?” ✨ 4. Entertainment bags + snackle boxes – We build them before the trip so travel day is calm and (mostly) quiet. ✨ 5. Summer wardrobe refresh – Matching, minimal outfits that double as their summer staples. They feel good, and I pack less. These small systems = big sanity savers. ✈️ And one more thing: relax into it. Something will go wrong. Someone might meltdown. A bag might get lost. That doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It means you’re in the thick of it—and you're doing great. The more you travel, the better you get. The more calm you stay, the more your kids learn to roll with it. You've got this. And I’ve got your shortcuts!

As a mom of five, I’ve learned we can’t just wing summer. Structure is what anchors us. It gives our days rhythm. It creates stability for my boys—and for me. So we start each morning with something productive. Education. Because keeping learning a consistent habit is one of the best ways to start the day. We begin with just one or two lessons, integrating their Smile Zemi tablets. And I’ve noticed—it activates them. It stimulates their minds, gives us a small win early, and makes the rest of the day feel smoother. We check off something meaningful first thing… And once the work is done? We vote. We play. We celebrate. That’s the kind of summer I want for them—where we build habits they’ll carry long after the season fades.

Get $50 off the Bounce 2 Kids Smartwatch by Garmin! 🎁⌚️ And, Moms… this thing is insanely good. As a mom to 5 boys, I need to reach my kids. And I need them to reach me. With the Bounce 2, I can call, text, send voice messages, and the boys can even message each other. It runs on a simple LTE subscription, and everything else is managed in the Garmin Jr App. It’s unbelievably easy (and helpful!). And the features? • Call + text + two-way voice messages • Location sharing (for “Where the heck are you?” moments 🙃) • Movement motivation + step competitions • Kid-to-parent AND kid-to-kid communication • Waterproof + swim friendly • Perfect for families delaying smartphones There comes a moment in motherhood where your kids start wanting and needing a little independence. It’s bittersweet… but also so cool to watch them grow up. But still… You want to stay connected. That’s exactly why we love the Bounce 2. It gives my boys freedom without a smartphone… and gives me peace of mind whether they’re: — sending a quick “come get me.” — texting to ask for their water at practice — or sharing their location when I need to know where they are. For our family, it’s the perfect middle ground. And moms… get something for YOU too. The Venu 4 is sleek, easy to use, and honestly? The most coveted running watch on the market. It even beats the Apple Watch for me, especially for fitness, battery life, and overall tracking. Highly, highly recommend both. 💙 Comment “WATCH” and I’ll send you everything. @Garmin Connects #garminambassador

I overpacked, panicked when things went wrong, and thought every meltdown or side‑eye from a stranger meant I was failing. Now, with five boys, the chaos hasn’t gone away. The forgotten snacks, the toddler meltdowns, the bathroom emergencies… they still happen. But I don’t take them as proof I’m failing anymore. Because here’s what I’ve learned: you don’t win with perfect kids—you win with the confidence to respond when things go sideways. That’s what Kobe meant: you don’t play to win or lose, you play to figure it out. And parenting is the same. Every travel day is another rep at figuring it out… and that’s where the real strength is built. 🙌🏻✨

8 months postpartum. Life with Cal — our fifth baby — is finally starting to feel… normal. Some days are still harder than others, of course. But the weight of adding a whole new person to our family is settling into something that feels like it was always meant to be. People ask all the time if being a mom of five is hard. If adding another child is “worth it.” And for me, the answer has always been “yes.” Every time. I’ve learned that life is less about making the right decision, and more about making the decision right for you. I’ve found purpose — and so many unexpected blessings — in the choices I’ve made, and adding more kids has been one of the richest. But holding it all together? That doesn’t happen by accident. It’s my routines. My 5AM foundation. My grit (or maybe my stubbornness) to “do it all,” get it wrong, and wake up the next day willing to try again. It’s learning to see every stage with fresh eyes and think differently when things stop working. Homeschool is the perfect example — when something feels off, it’s not always about trying harder… sometimes it’s about trying smarter. Motherhood, to me, has always felt like one big puzzle. Each baby, each season, each new challenge asks something new of me. And I’ve had to consciously work — and rework — the pieces until they fit. The coolest part? It never stops. Life doesn’t let up and get easy — it keeps inviting me into a new mountain, a new stretch, a new joy. And this little family of mine? The greatest mountain of all.
