The question I got most often when I came off of social media was “where did Goggins go?”

People speculated that my knees were bad, maybe my health, maybe even a deep depression. It was none of that.

Simply put, I grow in the darkness not in the light.

This past weekend was the Bigfoot 200 endurance event. I haven’t done a race of any distance in 5 years so it felt good to re-certify once again. This picture was taken at the finish line.

I want to congratulate all of the finishers of the Bigfoot 200. It’s truly an epic race that will break you the fuck off if you aren’t ready for it.

More importantly, I want to congratulate those who signed up but didn’t finish the race. Having the courage to sign up for a race like this sets you apart from so many people in this world.

You may not have made it to the finish line, but along your journey at Bigfoot, you found out so much about yourself. You reached beyond your limits to get as far as you could and now you will know the next time you show up to a race like that, you now have the knowledge to finish it.

These races aren’t about winning or losing or even finishing. It’s exploring oneself and the human potential that lies within all of us.

No matter what place you came in or if you DNF’d, you came out a better person.

Stay hard!

Most people look at my feet after a race and cringe. Blisters, missing and black toenails, skin peeling off, trench foot in this picture- pure destruction.

But that’s the point. Those feet tell the story of suffering. Every mile, every hill, every moment I wanted to quit but didn’t — it’s all written right there.

Pain leaves a mark, and those marks remind me who the hell I am. Comfort doesn’t teach you anything. Suffering does. My feet aren’t ugly — they’re proof of a war I survived. The most recent being Moab 240 this past weekend.

I look at my feet and am proud of the work they endured and the fact that I am still lining up at the start line of these races twenty years after I started when so many of my generation have long since retired.

This weekend, I completed Moab 240. There are always major takeaways, questions, lessons, etc, when you put yourself in that kind of arena.

All of that said, I have to thank @destinationtrailraces for putting on another amazing event. I would like to also thank Mother Nature for adding another fuck you to the race with the weather conditions.

Lastly, I cannot thank my crew enough for the hard work and dedication. I really need to thank @drcordial . The video doesn’t really explain just how bad off I truly was.

His expertise and knowledge kept me in the fight. I have people like that on my crew to help me get to the finish line. Casey understands that getting me there is his top priority so his ability to problem solve and find the origin cause of the problem is paramount.

Congratulations to all of the other runners who not only finished Moab but also those who had the courage to try!

Time.

Time is running out! I know some of you think you are young and have so much time.

I am here to tell you that in the blink of an eye, all that time is gone and all you will be left with is regret.

That said, we do live in a different generation and I am sure that most of you probably don’t even give a fuck. But, for those who do, you better stop thinking and start fucking doing!

Mad respect @davidjypark !

Someone sent me this so just discovering you now. Your journey from 0 to Ironman to Moab 240 is very impressive to say the least!

It shows that with hard work, dedication, the right mindset and attitude - anything is possible!

We will get that workout in one day! But be forewarned- what people think I do and what I really do are two entirely different things! You might want to add in a couple more workouts within the day.

All that said, most people’s attitude sucks and they look at all of this work as impossible and a waste of time. They look at it as a waste of time because it sucks!

Continue crushing shit! Mad respect!

In the same way, you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be used to you!

So for those of you defaming my name—bring your receipts, because I’ve got mine.

This is a good workout to increase pull-up strength.

Do 10 - 12 reps light weight of rear delts with 15 seconds rest in between sets. Do 5 sets and go straight into 100 pull ups in 10 minutes.

I do 5 pull-ups every 30 seconds for 20 sets of 5 in 10 minutes which gives me a total of 100 pull-ups in 10 minutes.

Do them however you want.

The rare individual who alone can push themselves past exhaustion yet continue going will discover mental realms unreachable to anyone who waits for someone else to push them.

If I had just one penny from all the people who judge me and judge so many others who fit this exact bill….

You love to judge others but never yourself. And you talk about God and your love for God. But tell others how fucked up they are- like you are God!

So many of you on Instagram love to preach about how fucked up someone else is. It’s amazing how you can so comfortably hold other people to a standard far above the one you hold for yourself.

Sad that Instagram has given you all a platform. You use the platform to spread nothing more than evil. Most of you look through social media so you can be nasty and hateful. But the next thing from your mouth will be something about God.

You pass judgment on someone you don’t even know—you don’t know their story, their pain, and the battles they’re fighting every day.

But you are in church every Sunday! Hilarious!!!

For all those who only know me for slogans like “who’s gonna carry the boats and the logs” and “you don’t know me, son”, etc., there is a lot more to the story than that!

Most of you know the sayings but the majority of you don’t know where they even came from or the true story on what it really took.

I am very honored and humbled by the many lives that have been changed by this book. I take no credit for those lives that have been changed, I was just the motherfucking tool doing God’s work.

And let me tell you, there were so many fucking days…soooooo many fucking days I did not want to do that work but it had to be done.

Stay hard!
