We are so far into this now that it’s getting awkward that I’ve waited so long to announce… especially when it gets brought up when I have a cocktail in my hand 🍸. 📣 WE ARE PREGNANT 🤰🏻 🗓️ MAY 13, 2026 Well not me, of course. You know the drill - I’m too old and broken… but our sweet surrogate agreed to go for another round with us at the hospital while having LILA! Doctors 🥼 made us wait a year, we implanted 1 of our 2 remaining embryos and BAM 💥 it worked!! IVF is a numbers game - and I would have NEVER thought I’d be here, 8-9 years later, still building my family. But here we are, at 44 years old. ITS NEVER TOO LATE ⏰! I know there will be people reading this, struggling with fertility. I never wanted kids. I went to freeze eggs at 35/36 and was told I should freeze embryos. Lost twins on my own due to my 🧬 genetic mutation (I’m confident) and went for two more rounds of egg retrieval back to back (highly recommend). It’s a numbers game, an expensive one, and requires a LOT of time, energy and drains your emotions. But never give up. So happy I didn’t give up - because I reallllly wanted to. It’s hard, but worth it! 👦🏼 miscarried 👧🏼 miscarried 🧒🏼 LIAM - almost had a stroke, but I carried him 👦🏼 didn’t survive the dethaw 👧🏼 miscarried 👧🏼 didn’t stick on the transfer 👧🏼 LILA via surrogate 👧🏼 LIVI bun in the oven 👧🏼 still frozen 🥶 🧊 ❄️
