🚨 COMING TO JAX!!!! ⚽️ 🏆 🎉 The future home of Sporting JAX & a 15,000-seat community stadium and major sports and entertainment district located adjacent to St. Johns Town Center and the University of North Florida is in the works! The transformational 300-acre privately developed project - fully accessible and prominently positioned along I-295 - is scheduled to open in 2028/2029 as the home of Sporting JAX Men’s Division One USL Premier and Women’s Division One Gainbridge Super League teams. Until then, Sporting JAX will continue building momentum at UNF’s Hodges Stadium, where our men compete in the USL Championship and our women compete in the Gainbridge Super League. The new stadium will host up to 40 professional matches annually and will be designed to attract premier club and international matches, USWNT games, NCAA championships, Special Olympics, rugby, lacrosse, and outdoor concerts of up to 20,000 fans. The announcement came today by Sporting JAX Principal Owner Ricky Caplin, along with co-owners Tim Tebow and Fred Taylor and Justin Papadakis of the USL! The team‘s inaugural home game is this Saturday at 7:30 PM UNF Stadium! Get ready!
