We turned a quick Miami trip into a 4-day gauntlet of founder events, culminating in an Easter Sunday mastermind that proved MDS members never miss a beat. Despite the holiday, the room was packed with heavy hitters from Herbalife, TRTL, Coldest, and Luna Bean to talk high-level strategy.
The biggest takeaway is that community has become the ultimate moat in e-commerce. The most resilient brands are playing the long game by building “low and slow” ecosystems in WhatsApp and VIP groups to drive better launches and retention.
We also dove deep into the TikTok halo effect. While direct attribution might only show 10% of sales, the volume of content on the platform is a primary driver for total brand revenue across every channel.
Finally, the room agreed that creator systems are shifting from recruitment to cultivation. The winners aren’t just hunting for new faces; they are building internal systems that help their best creators generate thousands of shoppable videos.
