Artist reveals what your favorite Pokémon almost looked like 😱 In 2018, an old Pokémon Gold & Silver demo from the ’90s leaked online, revealing dozens of early Pokémon designs that were never released. These early versions only existed as tiny pixel sprites inside the prototype games, and many were changed or completely redesigned before the final versions came out. Fast forward a few years, and artist @RacieBeep decided to redraw those beta sprites as full illustrations in the style of Ken Sugimori, so we can see each demo Pokémon in all its glory.
