These early versions only existed as tiny pixel sprites inside the prototype games, and many were changed or completely redesigned before the final versions came out. Fast forward a few years, and artist @RacieBeep decided to redraw those beta sprites as full illustrations in the style of Ken Sugimori, so we can see each demo Pokémon in all its glory.
