Burger King just flipped the script… posting a video of its president taking a massive bite of a Whopper — and it definitely feels like a not-so-subtle jab at the McDonald’s CEO.

Watch to see why! 🍔

Most Burger Kings get remodeled every ten years. Whoever owns this one forgot for seven decades. 🎸 ✨

Located at 101 Routzhan's Way in Frederick, Maryland, this is one of the only Burger King locations in the world that still operates inside a full 1950s American diner.

A working jukebox sits at the center of the floor, branded with the Burger King logo on a 45 RPM label. Yellow neon traces every wall. Chrome stools, curved booths, mosaic tile floors, none of it has been updated.

Burger King has rebranded its restaurant design at least four times since the 1970s. Since then, we saw sleeker logos, modern interiors and digital menu boards. The chain has spent hundreds of millions ensuring every location feels current.

Somehow, this one in Frederick, Maryland never got the memo. Or more likely, someone decided the memo didn't apply to them. While every other location was being stripped and rebuilt, this franchise kept the jukebox, kept the Bel Air booth, kept the mosaic floors.

There are over 18,000 Burger King locations in the world. There is one that still looks like this.

Burger King found a smart and cost-effective way to win big in football marketing — without signing a superstar.

Instead of spending millions on top players, the brand sponsored Stevenage FC inside the FIFA video game and launched the “Stevenage Challenge.” Gamers were encouraged to choose the small English club, complete specific in-game tasks, and share their best moments online.

Every highlight clip naturally showcased the Burger King logo on Stevenage’s jerseys, placing the brand alongside some of the biggest virtual names in football.

The result? Massive organic reach, strong fan participation, and global visibility — all at a fraction of the cost of traditional football sponsorships.

A clever reminder that sometimes, smart placement beats big spending.

Wendy’s is taking the viral burger tasting trend to a new level.

The fast food giant is hiring a Chief Tasting Officer and the salary is $100,000.

The role is exactly what it sounds like. The person hired will help taste new menu items, share feedback, create content and occasionally appear in ads while representing the brand.

After the McDonald’s CEO was mercilessly roasted online for his taste-test of the brand’s new Big Arch burger, the top dogs at Burger King and Wendy’s both got in on the trend.

Wendy’s is taking it a step further, however, and offering what would be a real-life dream job to any serious burger aficionado.

The job posting describes the qualifications as pretty simple:

• A human mouth
• A pulse
• Opinions
• Taste
• Creativity

Applicants are asked to submit a video explaining why they’re perfect for the role and ideally show themselves tasting Wendy’s food.

The company says the position will include quarterly vlog check-ins, tasting trends and helping bring “vibes, taste and creativity” to the brand.

In other words… you might get paid six figures to eat burgers.

By the way, we have a weekly newsletter rounding up all of the biggest stories so you don’t have to. One newsletter, once a week. Link in bio.

Rock climbing grades range from V0 (beginner) to V17 (nearly impossible), and this Burger King bathroom traverse is apparently sitting at a solid V5, which in the climbing world is considered intermediate. The fact that he’s documenting failed attempts with proper grading suggests this man has put genuine thought into the beta for getting from toilet to sink without touching the floor.

Respect the commitment.

“The Burger WARS” - McDonald's CEO ROASTED Over Big Arch Burger Hype Video

McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski recently posted a video promoting the brand’s new Big Arch burger. But instead of the burger going viral, it was his hesitant little bite that caught the internet’s attention.

People quickly started mocking the clip for looking stiff and awkward, turning the moment into a meme across social media.

Burger King saw the backlash and moved fast. The brand released its own video featuring its US & Canada president Tom Curtis taking a huge, confident bite of a Whopper, clearly playing into the viral moment.

Sometimes the internet creates the opportunity… and the smartest brands know exactly when to take a bite of it.

What do you think, clever marketing or just a lucky moment?
