We just fired a client last week for this exact reason😮‍💨 (And believe me, it felt good! 😆) If you are trying to break into Airbnb Management (aka cohosting), if you listen to nothing else, just please take this one piece of advice! 📣Repeat after me: Finding the RIGHT property owner is so much more important than finding the right PROPERTY! ✅️An owner that you are aligned with will eagerly reinvest in their property to make it more profitable and will support and work with you for you to both be successful. The wrong type of owner, no matter how incredible their property may be, will question you, drain your energy, and overtime their property will suffer. ❌️ They won’t support you in replacing or improving things, in reimbursing guests when needed, in making the cleaner’s job easier… and on and on. ❌️ They will nickel and dime you, take forever to pay you, and will cause you so much anxiety, ❌️ it will actually slow down your willingness to grow your business. Trust me, we just went through this process on one of our BEST listings in our portfolio, and we fired this client because of these exact red flags I can’t necessarily tell you what will feel in alignment for you when interviewing a potential owner. That’s for you and your business to decide what feels right.
