If it weren’t for anime—and especially video games—growing up, I honestly don’t know where I’d be today. Like so many others, it was my escape, my safe space.

Gundam Crocs – The reason I got into mecha and robot stuff. I even cried to my mom about getting a Gundam because I wanted it to marry one of my Barbies.

Lum from Urusei Yatsura – I remember watching her and thinking how beautiful she was. I loved her blue hair and outfit.

Gyomei – One of my favorite Hashira because of his visual impairment. Eye health is super important to me since my dad has struggled with his eyesight.

Goku Black – He’s just that 🥷

Baji – My favorite kid from Tokyo Revengers. His love for his friends is unmatched.

Attack on Titan – My favorite anime of all time. I could write an entire book about why I love this series.

Chi-Chi – One thing about Chi-Chi: she truly loves her family. She’s one of the most memorable mothers and wives in anime.
