(Based on a survey of 2,000 UK adults conducted by Opinium between 17th–20th June 2025.) 🏨 1. Booking poor accommodation (29%) We all have hotel horror stories after being catfished by dreamy, wide angle photos! Tip: Don’t book ANYTHING until you’ve done the full online stalk. Google Street View is your friend! Zoom right in, get up close and personal and stalk that hotel like it’s your next Tinder date. 📲 2.Forgetting to check data roaming allowance (12%) This has caught me out recently and you either get stuck with no data or a massive bill. Navigating the streets of Rome in 35 degrees heat to find my hotel without Google Maps was not fun!
