@fifaworldcup couldn’t have chosen a better 2026 host city! Houston is going to show out for the world next summer ⚽️ I got to welcome Trionda, the Official Match Ball, to Houston with a tour of some of my favorite downtown spots: 🌳 Eleanor Tinsley Park One of the best skyline views in the city! An amazing sunset picnic spot with sand volleyball courts, a large open field, and connecting trails to other parks. 🌯 POST Food and Event Hall A reimagined post office turned creative space with food from top local chefs, pop-up art installations, event and concert halls, and a rooftop garden deck overlooking downtown. 🍃 Discovery Green In the heart of downtown Houston is this beautiful green space that’s always busy in the best way. From festivals to fountains, the dog park, art sculptures, food trucks, and open lawn.. it’s the perfect spot to unwind beneath the skyscrapers. 🛹 Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark This is one of Texas’ largest downtown skateparks with a stunning skyline view! Even if you don’t skate (like me), it’s worth a visit for the surrounding art installations, kids’ playground, amphitheater, and major Houston vibe. 🏀 Root Square Park Pick-up with a skyline view. Need I say more? 🍻 EaDo East Downtown has the perfect mix of old and new. From local restaurants to sports bars, breweries, art murals and live music, it’s got all of the best things Houston has to offer. @fifa June can’t come soon enough 🏟️ #FIFAWORLDCUP #FIFA2026
