Lizzie Vann has spent years protecting Woodstock, New York's musical history. Now her 22-acre Catskills estate is on the market.

The British-born entrepreneur and philanthropist founded the Organix organic baby food brand and earned an MBE for her work in children's nutrition. She moved to the Woodstock area in 2013, drawn by a landscape that reminded her of England's Lake District. A longtime fan of the town's music, she found her second act in rescuing history.

In 2019, she bought the Bearsville complex, the legendary music compound that Bob Dylan's manager Albert Grossman built just outside Woodstock. Grossman ran the careers of Dylan, Joplin and The Band, and for decades his 15-acre campus of studios and stages drew artists to the Hudson Valley. By the time Vann stepped in, it had fallen into disrepair and faced demolition. She reopened it and added a cantina, tavern, ice cream parlor and outdoor spaces.

Her own home sits in Willow, minutes from Woodstock and Phoenicia. The estate started as a Hudson Valley farm and later ran as the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. Over the years musicians, entrepreneurs and creative thinkers have called it home.

The 22 acre estate sits cradled by Catskills ridge lines and partly bordered by the Little Beaverkill stream. The main residence was built from reclaimed barn beams, with two-story cathedral ceilings, a walnut-and-quartz kitchen anchored by a cast-iron Aga cooker and an imperial staircase rising to a primary suite in its own wing.

Two guest houses add four bedrooms and multiple baths. A party barn and a two-story working barn handle gatherings and animals. A heated saline pool sits between them, and a fenced vegetable garden waits just off the kitchen, with open meadows, fruit trees and trails beyond.
