3 Years ago, Jeremy Roach was managing creator partnerships at Cuts Clothing. He was buried in spreadsheets, trying to track organic social media performance with little success. Today, he’s the founder of socialpruf. - a platform designed to reveal where true impact comes from and finally prove the value of organic content.
The Challenge of Tracking Organic Social Media
At Cuts Clothing, Jeremy evaluated brand deals that often reached six figures. But time and again, he noticed the same problem: there was almost no solid proof of performance.
Agencies delivered vague summaries
Metrics were incomplete or unreliable
Creators sent outdated screenshots
Organic impact was there, but no one could measure it effectively.
Spreadsheet programs that require manual updating and are basic to a fault. They lack engaging sharable assets and essential tools that are essential to tracking social accounts.
Why Spreadsheets Weren’t Enough
The only option was to track everything manually. Jeremy spent countless hours:
Copying links from Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Updating impressions, engagement rates, and follower growth
Refreshing numbers that were already outdated by the next day
This method was slow, error-prone, and impossible to scale.
Tools That Fell Short
Jeremy tried using existing platforms, but none solved the problem:
Enterprise tools were complex and not built for organic reporting
Lightweight apps ignored organic performance altogether
None offered a simple way to automatically collect and present data
The gap was clear.
Building the First Prototype
Frustrated but determined, Jeremy teamed up with his brother, Kyle. Together, they built a prototype that automatically pulled post data into a live spreadsheet.
It wasn’t fancy - but it worked. For the first time, Jeremy had real-time metrics without manual tracking.
That prototype became the foundation for Socialpruf.
Calling Out the Bigger Failure
Jeremy quickly realized this was bigger than his own workflow. It was an industry-wide blind spot:
“There has been a massive failure within the marketing world, causing brands to misjudge creators, mismanage budgets, and undervalue the worth of organic content. Too often, success in social media gets reduced to vanity metrics, out of date screenshots, or neglected all together.
Organic has always been powerful, but until now, it’s been swept under the rug because accurate data wasn’t there. We built Socialpruf to reveal where true impact comes from, and to help brands, creators, and agencies finally measure and communicate what matters.”
This Socialpruf dashboard is the current day product, a result of eight months of development.
