"Before I came to #LSU the whole design was lead the country in walks and doubles" Tennessee leads the SEC in home runs (49) with nearly double the amount LSU has registered (25). But the Tigers are currently tied for the SEC lead in doubles (43) and are fourth in walks (117).

Noticed that Jay Johnson sat down and had an extended chat with Jared Jones at #LSU practice today. As mentioned earlier, Jones stayed after practice and worked privately with Coach Johnson as well.

The third base job is up for grabs in 2026. John Pearson is in contention for that gig and is battling in the fall. The sophomore lit it up in the Northwoods League this summer and appears to be in great shape after another offseason with Chris Martin. #LSU
