He combined a full Yeezy Season 3 fashion runway show with the live world premiere of ‘The Life of Pablo’ in front of thousands 👇 The crowd watched Ye perform songs like “Ultralight Beam,” “Famous,” “Wolves,” “Fade,” “Feedback,” “Highlights,” “No More Parties in LA,” and more for the first time ever. The night featured massive surprise appearances from Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, Pusha T, Don C, Chance the Rapper, Kirk Franklin, Frank Ocean, Vic Mensa, Desiigner, and others joining Ye on stage. One of the biggest moments was “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” and “Pt. 2” getting performed live for the first time Another huge surprise came when Ye passed the aux to Young Thug, saying “Hold up, Thug wanna play some new sh*t,” and let him play his unreleased song “With Them” right there in the arena Production was massive with intense lighting, pyrotechnics, and the album streaming exclusively on Tidal in real time. Changes happened live in front of everyone, like the original “Wolves” outro with Sia and Vic Mensa that got replaced later. The event had almost no traditional promo, cost millions to produce, and instantly became the blueprint for every immersive album rollout that came after. It was the first major album to launch Tidal-exclusive for 24 hours before hitting other platforms.
