What did I just see? 😃 I almost missed @catasy_935z at Wekfest but caught it rolling out. It almost looks like a concept car, but in reality… it’s a Nissan 350Z (Z33) that rocks a Porsche-style slant-nose up front, while the rear wears genuine OEM continuous LED taillights from the current-gen 992. Other cool things to notice are the aggressive fenders, side skirts and hatch, which all needed to be reworked to accommodate the tails. The side mirrors have also been deleted (I’m told cameras have been installed and hidden in the fenders so the driver can still see). I get that “it’s still a 350Z”… but the creativity and execution of this project by Custom Produce A.BASE is pretty gnarly! 🤙 #935z #Z33 #350Z #slantnose #wekfest #wekfestjapan

The VR38DETT has been beefed up with rods, pistons and cams. Should make around 600hp once tuned. It still retains the original 6-speed manual, which @larry_chen_foto had the pleasure to testing it out and says it’s better than expected. 🏆 The judges and I unanimously named this Silvia the most “Elite Build” of @theelite_id. People would go nuts for this car back in the States. The show lived up to my expectations as I got to see the best of every JDM dream car imaginable, in particularly from the Nissan family. Not just talking Godzillas, but it was a solid turnout of non-GTR Skylines, Fairlady Zs and S-chassis. The most unlikely wheels on a Honda 🥲 I remember losing my mind four years ago when @kazuki_madlane posted this Integra on BBS Bugatti wheels. Looks just as dope in person! The DC2 had to go through a good amount of work to get the final look and fitment just right with modified knuckles, shorter-travel @prazis.japan air struts and other suspension tweaks. As for the wheels, they’re originally two-piece but rebarrelled to three-piece. Looks like it’s also running adapters to accommodate the 5x120 bolt pattern as this car was originally 4x100. I personally dig its clean aesthetic with ceiling-mounted hoses and also the old school uniforms! Let’s Go Osaka 💡 @jdmwong came up with the idea to collaborate with them on an @eneosusa video featuring the @exceed_jpn EK4 and @stickydiljoe EG6 Civics. Most Ferrari owners wouldn’t dare modify a classic, but @sin.ce.day.one is built different! 🙌 In 2018, I had the pleasure of publishing Ryan Dandurand’s ‘98 F355 Berlinetta when Larry Chen shot the feature for the mag. I pushed to get it on the cover, but the idea was shot down by the powers that be because it was a Rari… 🫠 Regardless, I never got a chance to meet Ryan (who’s naturally a Toyota guy 👯‍♂️) or check out his car in person until last Sunday at @midnightrevup Calgary. 🇨🇦 Let me just say that it did not disappoint! It feels like something built in Japan with an ode to time attack, while the fit, finish and flow of the modifications are flawless. Most Ferrari owners wouldn’t dare modify a classic, but @sin.ce.day.one is built different! 🙌 In 2018, I had the pleasure of publishing Ryan Dandurand’s ‘98 F355 Berlinetta when Larry Chen shot the feature for the mag. I pushed to get it on the cover, but the idea was shot down by the powers that be because it was a Rari… 🫠 Regardless, I never got a chance to meet Ryan (who’s naturally a Toyota guy 👯‍♂️) or check out his car in person until last Sunday at @midnightrevup Calgary. 🇨🇦 Let me just say that it did not disappoint! It feels like something built in Japan with an ode to time attack, while the fit, finish and flow of the modifications are flawless. Rally was never of a super popular here in the States, but there are some WRC icons that hit home to many of us that played endless hours of Gran Turismo.
