Do the networks step in? If Texas is left out, and they substitute all of the future premium early season broadcast games for lower tiered power 4 non-con games...that is millions of dollars lost in each game And when other teams follow, that will snowball quickly

If Texas finishes 9-3 and doesn't get in, the committee is sending a message that schools need to stop scheduling teams like Ohio State A 10-2 Texas would've absolutely still been considered a playoff team, even with being blown out by UGA Tennessee got in at 10-2 with this schedule, the main difference being Texas playing on the road at Ohio State, vs home against NC State Tenn 2024 top 15 wins #7 Alabama, @ #15 OU Tex 2025 top 10 wins (assuming 9-3) #6 OU, #9 Vanderbilt, #3 Texas A&M
