This felt surreal

I pitched @jakepaul my idea to do street interviews for brands last summer

HE LOVED IT- so that night I quit my job

3 months later I DROPPED OUT of college to go ALL IN on STREET INTERVIEWS

Now- 1.5 years and 47 team members later - I got to share how far I took this idea

Today, I’m excited to announce my company 203Media has rebranded to @heyStreetTalk

the #1 Street Interview ad agency for Consumer brands.

For the past 18 months

I've been running around parks with a microphone doing street interviews for Grüns, Dr. Squatch, Magic Spoon, and 100+ other brands.

Now we’re leveling up.

I convinced @JesseEis - who scaled Tinuiti from $2M to $200M+ to leave corporate America and become my partner at StreetTalk.

He walked away from running a massive company to join a 22-year-old who was couch surfing a year ago.

Why? Because Jesse saw what I learned on those cold nights in November:

Your customers trust strangers more than they trust your scripted actors or paid influencers.

Think about it:

- You spend $50K on a commercial that looks "authentic"
- The sales rarely follow
- Meanwhile, one real person's genuine reaction goes viral

That's what StreetTalk solves.

We put your product in front of real people. Capture real reactions. Turn those moments into content that converts.

We capture the moment someone discovers your product. That raw, honest reaction? That's what sells.

Because in 2025, authenticity isn't a nice-to-have. It's the only thing that breaks through the noise.

Welcome to StreetTalk. Now shooting content for January 2026 delivery.

I’ve been secretly working on something and I haven’t said a word until now…

I’ve been working with @WhopIO to start "Whop on the street."

A series where I interview the most savage entrepreneurs.

Yesterday was a SURREAL full circle moment where I interviewed @GadzhiIman

In the same park in NYC where I built my Street interview Ad agency

I Used to watch his YouTube videos aspiring to make my first dollar - couldn't be more surreal

A lot more to come soon, but incredibly grateful for all of the love and support from everyone on this platform.

Anything is possible chase your dreams

I quit an internship at BLADE the night before I started. Today their HR director thanked me for it.

Last summer, I’d landed a sales internship at BLADE - the “Private Helicopter/ Jet service in NYC"

The Sunday night before I was supposed to start, I Emailed Anthony (their Head of HR) at 9pm.

“I can’t take the job.”

That week, I’d made $3,000 asking strangers about protein powder in Washington Square Park. Something about it felt more real than sitting in an office.

BLADE thought I was insane.

Today, 14 months later, he saw me filming street interviews and stopped me.

“I’ve been following your journey since that phone call. You built something nobody else saw coming.”

Then he said something that hit different:

“Most people would’ve taken the safe path. The internship. The resume line. The normal trajectory. You bet on yourself when you had nothing to bet with.”

We’re now at $3M run rate. 46 employees. Working with the biggest brands in the world.

That BLADE internship would’ve been a great opportunity.

But I would’ve been building someone else’s dream instead of mine.

Sometimes the stupidest decision on paper is the smartest decision for your life.

The safe path would’ve been safer.
It also would’ve been smaller.

I left my marketing class to take a call with Rob Gronkowski.

That 30-min conversation my life forever.

September 2023. Syracuse University. Senior year.

I'm sitting in marketing class, sweating bullets.

For weeks, I'd been living a double life:

→ Tues-Sun: Filming street interviews in NYC
→ Mon-Tues: Rushing back for classes

I'd missed almost every lecture. One more absence? Automatic fail.

Then my phone buzzes: "Rob Gronkowski's team wants to talk."

I looked at the professor.
Looked at my phone.
Walked out.

Crouched next to the bathroom, laptop balanced on my knees, I took the call.

Chris Gronkowski (Rob's brother) cuts to the chase:

"We want you to do street interviews for Ice Shaker. How much?"

I'm starstruck. "$4,000 for 30 videos."

"Cool. Send the contract."

I snapped my laptop shut.

Sprinted to my apartment.

Grabbed everything I owned.

Drove straight to my buddy Matt's couch in NYC.

Here's the thing about dropping out that nobody tells you:

It's not about hating school.

It's about recognizing a once-in-a-lifetime window.

I had two options:

1. Finish my degree and watch this opportunity vanish
2. Go all-in and build something nobody else was touching

So I took a chance and started 203Media where we've generated millions in revenue for our clients.

School works for some. It didn't work for me.

Pretzelized is now in Publix Nationwide 😎

Here’s an example of our Miami street interviews 🙌

They are a HIT on the streets 🥁

When doing street interview ads- the reaction is the GOLD ✅

This is the part you can NOT script or FAKE

Unlike standard UGC where the creators don’t know anything about the brand besides from their script- street interviews gets your customers to vouch for your product 👊

Just had a check in call 😶‍🌫️ with a mid 8 figure health and wellness brand ‼️ (350k - 500k / month ) in spend 🔥 They were a bit disappointed with our first batch of street interviews because the demo was a bit off 🫠 It screwed a little on the younger side The reactions and energy was still 10/10 I insisted on running them and in just the first 12 videos We are now both their #1 and #2 top preforming ad in their entire account "brand directors" know NOTHING MAKE GREAT CONTENT AND YOU WILL WIN 🏆

Exactly 365 days ago, I picked up a mic and hit the streets with no plan. Just a gut instinct and a hunger to create.

Exactly 183 days ago, I dropped out of college to bet on that instinct full time.

Now? Our team is 16 deep and we’re pulling in 7 figures a year off nothing but raw, real, unscripted human emotion.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth the big agencies pray you never figure out:

The best content doesn’t come from a “creative strategist” in a WeWork.
It doesn’t survive six rounds of brand-safe revisions.
It’s not storyboarded, sanitized, or squeezed through a funnel of approval layers.

It’s human.
It’s messy.
It’s what someone actually says the first time they try something new.
That split-second reaction you can't recreate with a UGC creator.

At 203 Media:

We’re not sitting around strategizing how to "make ugly ads" or begging UGC creators to “sound more authentic.”

Because if you have to TRY to sound authentic, you’ve already lost.

You can’t fake real.
You can’t coach natural.
You can’t script soul.

That’s why we document first, strategize later.

We capture truth in real time, then shape it into high-converting creative.

Not the other way around.

This is the Gary Vee model—but evolved for brands, built on the backs of real people, in the rawest city on Earth.

And now?

We’re producing for some of the biggest brands on the planet most recently @obvi @obviceo @ashvinmelwani

Not because we networked.
Not because we played the agency game.
But because our authentic content consistently beats their fake sounding UGC.

It’s not that those agencies don’t want to and match our contents authenticity, it’s that no matter how hard they try they can’t.

I secretly turned an Apple Store into my office for 3 months.

The employees had no idea I was running a $40K/month business from their demo computers. Here's how I hacked the system:

I was 3 months into building my street interview business. Brands were paying me thousands for content, but I had zero infrastructure.

No computer. No office. No cloud storage.

Just raw footage on SD cards that needed to get to my editor in Croatia.

Every night after filming street interviews in Washington Square Park, I'd walk to the Apple Store on 5th Avenue.

I'd browse casually, then plug my SD card into their demo computers.

Upload everything. Make the links public. Email them to my editor.

By morning, I'd wake up to 10 polished videos ready for clients.

This was my hack to make content for 3 months straight.

The Apple Store employees thought I was their most dedicated browser.

Little did they know I was running a six-figure business from their demo machines.

The system worked flawlessly:
→ Film all day in the park
→ Apple Store "office hours" at night
→ Wake up to finished content
→ Deliver to clients and get paid

Today we have proper systems. But I still think about those nights in the Apple Store.

Sometimes the best solutions come from having no other choice.
