Note the time of this post
10:45: Game ended 29 minutes ago and Kelly has still not come out for interviews. This is, at least, unusual.
Lane Kiffin becomes Mardi Gras royalty, will co-reign over a massive New Orleans parade theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/en...
ESPN saying Kiffin decision is imminent. How many minutes or hours in an imminent, I couldn't tell you.
Holy Warren Morris ... Jay Johnson just said Daniel Dickinson broke the hamate bone in his hand in the first NCAA regional game ... and kept playing.
#LSU coach Lane Kiffin on transfer portal: "It's out of control. It's a bad system. I'm not mad at the players. They all have agents. Even if they want to stay they get in the portal. I tell our coaches and fans you've got to get used to being uncomfortable."
OK, we didn't know this: Frank Wilson said the opening kick coverage team was all walk-on players. They called it Seal Team Six. "It was something they earned and deserved. It was more precious than an NIL deal. They got to play in Tiger Stadium. They can tell their children."
No time for Monday’s game yet but we were just told #LSU will again be the visiting team. Little Rock is the home team again. One of the worst rules in sports that this is allowed.
Brian Kelly on open date practice: We're giving Garrett some time to rest this week, making sure he's 100%. Michael (Van Buren) got all the first team reps.
Here in Omaha, there is no hard and fast rule for postponing the game to tomorrow. Game can resume after 11, but probably not after midnight. Based on how the weather looks and the fact the loser is supposed to play Arkansas tomorrow, I think they will resume tonight.
If #LSU and Texas A&M win this week, could well see College Game Day here as well, IMO.
According to TV, OU wins the team title based on all scores. You might think they might go by the top individual score, which is Kailin Chio's 39.600 for #LSU, but apparently not.
Tiger Stadium now looks about two-thirds full. I don't understand why people take the time to come to a game and leave with a one-score game in the balance?
