This is my favorite imagery from the Knicks parade. This is the 2026 version of old black and white videos from a hundred years ago in NYC. This footage will be shown as like a historical account of what NYC turned into because Jalen Brunson and the boys brought home the Larry.
When I saw this footage I said, THIS is what we were talking about all those years when we tried to woo LeBron and KD. This was the sale - we are a dumpster fire franchise but if you’re the one who turns it around you will receive untold glory.
So I wondered if LeBron and KD and every big free agent that ever passed on the Knicks saw scenes like this and had any regrets. But then I realized no, they don’t. Bc those guys dgaf and wanted money and super teams and dynasties. They never appreciated what could have been and prob don’t care what it became.
And I can’t even blame them. It is a HUGE risk for a super star to potentially waste their prime dealing with Dolan. So I realized this was the only way this would happen. It had to be a collection of underdogs and misfits and outcasts proving themselves to the world. There was only one dr strange permutation where THIS could unfold and it was with JB, Hart, KAT, OG, Mikal, Alvarado etc
