Located beneath Bowery, the immersive activation features wrapped train cars, archival footage, rare memorabilia, vintage photography, and installations inspired by the New York City that shaped Jay-Z’s landmark debut 30 years ago.
The subway experience is part of a larger citywide celebration that also includes the flagship Brooklyn exhibit and special-edition Brooklyn Public Library cards honoring one of hip-hop’s most influential albums.
