One of the best movie screens in the world is getting an early release.
The upcoming sci-fi film “Project Hail Mary,” starring Ryan Gosling, will have early IMAX 70mm screenings in Los Angeles at Universal CityWalk.
IMAX 70mm is considered the highest quality film format in cinema, using massive film stock to produce incredibly detailed images and an immersive 1.43:1 screen ratio.
Early screenings start March 13, ahead of the movie’s nationwide release on March 20.
Only a small number of theaters in North America can show IMAX 70mm, making these early screenings a rare opportunity for movie fans.
