Lil Nas X appeared in court in Los Angeles for a pretrial hearing for his police battery case on Thursday (March 12). During the hearing, Nas X's attorney notified the judge that she plans to file a motion for diversion, which would place him in a supervised program instead of facing prosecution. The Georgia recording artist spoke to the press outside the courthouse. "To my fans, I really love you and I miss you, and I appreciate your support so much," said. "And I can't wait to be back hugging you guys." Lil Nas X was arrested last August after he was spotted walking in his underwear and later nude down Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles. When police arrived on the scene, Nas X reportedly charged at officers. He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer.
