He went on to state that it went up to $7 million, then $10 million, and that after he retired it went up to $17 million, then $24 million.
“Now you have schools at $40 million rosters. So, if we continue to do that we’re going to lose college sports, we’re gonna lose scholarships. Basically you’re going to have football and basketball succeed, and we’ll have club sports for everything else.”
