Barack and Michelle Obama have taken the stage for today's grand opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago. The highly anticipated center will officially open to the public tomorrow, on Juneteenth.
Guests today include former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Joe Biden. Former Vice President Kamala Harris was also in attendance. President Donald Trump, whose feud with Obama long predates his time in the White House, was not invited.
Before the official opening, Obama got to be a tour guide to the former presidents and first ladies in attendance.
Former President George W. Bush came bearing gifts for former first lady Michelle Obama today: a tin of Altoids. The two have enjoyed a playful friendship over the years as they've often been seated next to each other at high-profile events.
