A full-on music takeover is coming thanks to @roughtradenyc & @rockefellercenter
NYC is hosting what organizers call the world’s largest Record Store Day celebration, bringing tens of thousands of fans to 30 Rock on April 18.
This year’s Record Store Day will feature highly sought-after limited releases from Taylor Swift, Paramore, Charli XCX , alongside hundreds of exclusive titles available only through independent record stores.
Record Store Day 2026 releases will go on sale from 9:00 AM at Rough Trade Below (Rink Level, Rockefeller Center), with Rough Trade Above opening at 10:00 AM as usual. Rough Trade NYC will serve as a central destination for these releases, with iNDIEPLAZA extending that experience into Rockefeller Center’s iconic plaza.
Expect long lines, big crowds, and a full plaza takeover with food vendors and activations throughout the day.
