no better way to start pride month by giving back🥹🌈 today i donated $10,000 to @pridesalsa !!!! growing up, i spent most of my life in a dance studio. while i didn’t always know where i fit in, i knew i felt safe there. it was one of the first places that gave me the freedom to explore who i was, express myself without fear, and discover that the things that made me different were never things that needed to be hidden. for so many people, having even one space where you feel seen can change the entire course of your life. it certainly changed mine. that’s why supporting @pridesalsa is so meaningful. they’ve built a community for immigrants and members of the queer community, creating the kind of belonging that every person deserves. the kind that says, “you are welcome here exactly as you are.” if i could tell my younger self anything, it would be that one day the things he worried would set him apart would become the very things that connect him to others. being able to start pride month by giving back to a community that creates that same feeling for people feels incredibly full circle.
