Pickleball season is officially (almost) back in Central Park.
Starting April 21, Wollman Rink is once again turning into a 14-court pickleball hub right in the middle of the park.
Courts will be open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM, with a mix of open play, lessons, and private bookings for all skill levels.
One of the biggest draws is the $5 community play sessions, which include free paddle rentals and make it one of the cheapest ways to spend time in Central Park.
They’re also adding a kids summer camp this year, running through late July and August.
If you’ve walked by before, you already know the vibe. If not, this is probably the most scenic place in the city to get into it.
By the way, we have a weekly newsletter with what’s worth knowing about and doing in New York City. One newsletter. Once a week. Link in bio.
