Wishing you the very best of luck in the future, Codi ❤️
Laia Codina will leave Arsenal when her contract expires at the end of season.
Laia joined us from Barcelona in the summer of 2023 and made her Arsenal debut in our 2-2 draw against Manchester United in the Barclays Women’s Super League on 6 October 2023.
In total, Laia has made 58 appearances and scored four goals during her time with us.
The 26-year-old defender was part of the Arsenal squad that won the League Cup in her first season at the club, with the Spaniard entering the fray at half time as we secured a clean sheet and 1-0 win over Chelsea.
Laia also helped us to win our historic UEFA Women’s Champions League title in 2025, as well as the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in 2026.
Everyone at Arsenal Football Club thanks Codi for her efforts during her time with us and we wish her well for her next chapter 💫
