Gucci Mane was allegedly robbed and kidnapped at gunpoint by Pooh Shiesty, Big30 and others.

On Thursday (April 2), the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) held a press conference to announce that nine people, including Pooh and Big30, kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint numerous victims at a music studio in Dallas on Jan. 10. Eight people, including Pooh, his father Lontrell Williams Sr, and Big30, were arrested while one, Terrance Rodgers, remains at large.

According to the DOJ, three music industry professionals traveled to Dallas for a meeting set up by Pooh Shiesty, who is on home confinement in Texas and signed to Gucci Mane's The New 1017 Records.

Gucci, whom the DOJ did not name, but several other media outlets did, was reportedly among the men who arrived at a Dallas studio for the meeting. Apparently, Pooh wanted to "discuss the terms of his recording contract with one of the victims," assumed to be Gucci.

Once inside the studio, Pooh and the eight suspects allegedly "executed an armed takeover." Pooh is accused of pulling out an AK-style pistol and allegedly forcing Gucci "to sign a release from the recording contract at gunpoint."

Big30 is accused of barricading the door with his body to prevent anyone from escaping after the co-conspirators robbed the other victims at gunpoint of Rolex watches, jewelry, cash and more. One victim was choked to the point of near unconsciousness. Several suspects posted some of the stolen items on social media.

Pooh's father allegedly helped plan and execute the kidnapping. XXL has reached out to Pooh Shiesty and Gucci Mane's teams for comment.
