A BIG movie experience is coming to New York.
The upcoming Ryan Gosling sci-fi film “Project Hail Mary” will have early screenings in IMAX 70mm at AMC Lincoln Square, one of the few theaters in the world capable of projecting the format.
IMAX 70mm uses the largest film format in cinema, delivering extremely high resolution and a massive screen ratio designed to make space scenes feel even bigger.
Early screenings begin March 13, a week before the film’s nationwide release on March 20.
Other cities with the rare format include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago, but Lincoln Square remains one of the most iconic IMAX theaters in the world.
By the way, we have a weekly newsletter with what’s worth knowing about and doing in New York. One newsletter. Once a week. Link in bio.
